Dear Parents and Carers,

Congratulations to our newly elected sports house leaders for 2020 who were elected this week. Thank you all, for your willingness and commitment to leading your sporting houses throughout 2020. These leaders will be inducted at our presentation day on the 10th December. Parents of new house leaders will be invited to come along on the day to pin their badge on during the ceremony. Congratulations once again and thank you to our current house leaders for doing such a wonderful job throughout 2019.

Over the last week many of our students have been participating in the intensive swimming program. This continues tomorrow and every day next week as well.

While looking at our known student numbers for 2020, we are planning the following class structure and teachers for 2020. This may change with minor adjustments in the new school year as student numbers are confirmed.

Next year Mrs Schweikert will be taking classes during teacher release time for class planning. Mr Smith and Mrs Benfield will be in class support roles during 2020.

School Banking

Tuesday 3rd December will be the last day for student banking for 2019.

Virtual Reality in Writing

This week some students have had the opportunity to experiment with virtual reality as part of their writing lessons. Students used the Virtual Reality Kit including phone and glasses, to explore famous national parks and work on their descriptive writing. It was a lot of fun and students had a great time hanging from a cliff face in Yosemite National Park and standing next to a volcano in Hawaii.
