Limited Warranty for Fujitsu Imaging Products.

Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc. (FCPA) offers a Limited

How to obtain service for products under warranty.

Should you require support for product under warranty, call

FCPA’s Technical Assistance Center (TAC) at (800) 626-4686.

Please have your Fujitsu Imaging Product model number,

Service Program Options by Model

ScanCare®—the ultimate preventative maintenance program.

The Premium service offering by Fujitsu—and one of the most

comprehensive service programs in the industry—includes

scheduled preventative maintenance, parts, labor, and travel,

plus user training and consumables. It combines preventative

maintenance and repair service to prolong the outstanding per-

formance of your scanning equipment. When uptime is critical,

our 4-hour response time option provides the fastest possible

turnaround time. ScanCare maintenance is available as a service

upgrade to the existing Limited Warranty applicable to the

Product. The ScanCare® Plus program extends service beyond

the applicable Limited Warranty period and is available in single

or multiple 12-month periods.

ScanAid™—help yourself and save.

Self-service, factory-authorized cleaning and consumable kits

let you reduce service costs and keep your scanner running at

peak performance.

Advance Exchange—the simple, economical, onsite alternative.

Advance Exchange offers whole-unit replacement for equipment

that cannot be repaired through technical support. It is available

in the 50 United States to help minimize downtime and is avail-

able on most models. If the Technical Assistance Center (TAC)

is unable to resolve a problem, a replacement unit is shipped

overnight for requests received by 2pm PST, otherwise the next

business day. Parts, labor and shipping to and from the customer

is included. Advance Exchange Plus provides the same service

for scanners beyond the applicable Limited Warranty period and

is available in single or multiple 12-month increments.

For those customers requiring asset tag tracking or prefer to retain

their existing scanner, Fujitsu offers Depot service. While Advance

Exchange offers a replacement unit overnight, Depot repairs are

returned to the customer within 5-days of receipt. Depot service

includes parts, labor and shipping to the customer. Advance

Exchange and Depot service is available for all Workgroup,

Departmental and Low-Volume scanners excluding the fi-5750C.

Basic—value-oriented peace of mind.

Basic on-site service (includes parts, labor and travel only)

upgrades the standard Limited Warranty on certain models to a

full 12 months of on-site service. Basic Plus is available in the

post-warranty period and can be purchased in single or multiple

12-month increments.

Select Next Business Day (NBD) or 4-hour response time option

based on your requirements. Co-Terminous Basic Service provides

financial flexibility by allocating service for a specified number

of months (Certain restrictions apply). You can also synchronize

services and billing on multiple units or multiple locations.

Complementary Service Options—the flexibility you need to

create the custom service program you want.

Fujitsu enhancement services allow you to create the ideal service

program. Whether added to an existing service program or pur-

chased separately, the services provide the flexibility you need

to get just the right amount of investment protection.

Single-event preventative maintenance includes an on-site

cleaning, inspection and adjustment of your scanning equipment,

as well as consumables and operator instruction covering regular

maintenance.

Installation ensures that your Fujitsu departmental, low- and

mid-volume production scanner is unpacked, installed, and

operationally verified by a factory-trained imaging equipment

professional (connection to customer's computer not included).

Training provides basic operator instruction on scanner

operations and features, plus troubleshooting, enabling users to

be more productive right from the start.

Inspection: For out-of-warranty products or those without a

current Fujitsu service contract.
