Mr. Gibson reported he was shutting down his party for the night and reported there would be no further issues in the future. On 05/24/2020 at 10:24 hours, Officer Moser (60250) responded to a report of a suspicious person at 7200 Shallowford Rd. I spoke to a w/m, Shane Michael Francis who stated he came to Chattanooga to meet a friend of his while she was having her father fix her vehicle.

Mr. Francis stated that he was trying to figure out how to replace the batteries in his vehicle remote and was having a hard time doing so.

Mr. Francis did not have any warrants and was going to get batteries so he could start his vehicle.

I responded to a lost property at 1431 Market St. I spoke to a Mr. Neale Lester. He stated that he parked his vehicle (GA- ) on the side of the st because he was looking for a coffee shop that used to be in the area. He stated he could not locate it and return to his vehicle. He stated the doors were unlocked but he could not find his keys. He requested police call a tow truck. United towing came to the scene and Mr. Lester had his vehicle towed to the Hyundai dealership so he could have a key made for his vehicle. Nothing further at this time.

On 05/24/2020 at 11:34 hours, Officer Lockhart (66490) reported a Filed interview at Applebees, located at 5606 Brainerd Rd. Upon arrival, I spoke with the bartender, Joshua Ervin, who informed me a patron, later identified as Micah Crane, refused to answer the company's COVID questions. Therefore, Mr. Ervin informed Mr. Crane he could not serve him and he would need to leave. According to Mr. Ervin, Mr. Crane refused to leave but did so rather quickly once police arrived.

On 05/24/2020 at 12:10 hours, Officer Hicks (68400) responded to 2205 E 12th St to speak with Talesia Jones in regard to people disrespecting her. Police could see that Ms. Jones had been drinking alcohol and would not give police any details. No one was observed with Ms. Jones and no disorder was happening. It was clear that Ms. Jones did not need police and was misusing the resources of the Chattanooga Police Department. I have been to this address several times in the past for similar things that are not police related.

On 05/24/2020 at 12:29 hours, I, Officer M. Wilkerson (83698) reported a memo at McCallie Ave/N Hickory St. At this location I made contact with an abandoned vehicle with no tag (VIN WP0AA0947DN460577) parked behind a building. After running the VIN it was found that the vehicle did not come back on file. The vehicle was a blue two-door 944 Porsche. Nothing further to report at this time.

On 05/24/2020 at 13:33 hours, Officer M Pollard (63828) responded to a Vandalism at 4509 Locksley Ln.

Upon my arrival, I spoke with Ms. McHenry. She stated that sometime during the night, an unknown person(s) had broken her mailbox. The mailbox pole was broken in a few place, laying on the ground. The mailbox was several feet away. At this time there are no leads, witnesses, or suspect information.

On 05/24/2020 at 14:20 hours, Officer Cogburn (0062182) reported a memo at 2200 Hamilton Place Blvd. Police responded to the above address on the report of a suspicious person who has a history of stealing things from the store. Police took a picture of the suspect from the complainant's cell phone and attached it to the report. Police also searched the area for the suspect but were unable to locate her. The female was described as a white female in he 30's, with shoulder length blond hair. No additional information was available at the time of report.

On 05/24/2020 at 15:00 hours, Officer Charles Bramlett (66966) responded to a disorder at 1305 Roanoke Ave. Upon arrival police spoke to the caller, Laniesha Lafortune, who stated she was in a disorder with her brother Kevin Scaife. Mrs. Lafortune stated she and her brother were in a disorder over clothes he brought over for her six-year-old daughter. Mrs. Lafortune stated herbrother tried to take the clothes back by grabbing them from her and was now refusing to leave her home. Police spoke to Kevin Scaife who stated he lived at 1305 Roanoke and has been paying rent. Kevin Scaife agreed to leave for a while and allow everyone to calm down. All parties agreed to end the argument and speak about the situation later. Nothing further to report.

On 05/24/2020 at 16:25 hours, Officer Johnston (75394) responded to a False Pretenses/Swindle/Confidence Game at 5024 Sunnyside Ave. I spoke with the complainant via phone. The complainant stated that she had been notified by her bank that a fraudulent transaction had occurred with her card. The bank has already taken action in protecting the complainant and the complainant needed a report for the bank. She was informed that around $1188 had been taken from the account. There is no suspect information at this time. Nothing else follows.

On 05/24/2020 at 18:30 hours, Officer Johnston (75394) responded to a Damaged Property Accidental at 937 East Ave. I spoke with the complainant via phone. The complainant stated that a lawn mowing company was working next door and they kicked up a rock. That rock hit the vehicles passenger rear window and damaged it. The complainant stated that she spoke with the company but feels they are trying to give her the run around. Nothing else follows at this time.

On 05/24/2020 at 18:40 hours, Officer Johnston (75394) responded to a Harassment All Others at 7310 Standifer Gap Rd. I spoke with the complainant via phone. The complainant stated that he has been informed that someone is calling an ex of his and sending explicit pictures to this person. The complainant stated that he had blocked his ex-boyfriend after being contacted by that persons current boyfriend and has not been in contact with him since yet. The complainant found out this was and is still going on due to someone contacting his current boyfriend and informing him of this. I am unable to verify any of this information at this time. Nothing else follows.

6624 Lee Hwy20-050655 5/24/2020 7:15:00PM 91Z Field Interview

On 05/24/2020 at 20:15 hours, Officer N. Gurnsey (79875) conducted a Wellness Check at 6624 Lee Hwy. Police were initially dispatched to check the well being of a white mail in brown pants and a white t shirt. He was observed by the caller sleeping in thegrass near the intersection of Lee Hwy and McCrary Ln. When Police arrived in the area, the party was found in the parking lot of a gas station on the Southwest corner of the Lee Hwy and Ballard Dr. intersection. The party identified himself as James Henderson. Mr. Henderson is a known homeless party that has recently frequented the Lee Hwy area. Mr. Henderson appeared to be sober and uninjured, however, his speech was rambling and incoherent. He did not appear to pose a danger to himself or other parties. Police offered Mr. Henderson a ride, he asked several times if he would be able to attend a nearby church service. Officers on scene could not provide any information for places of worship.He was transported to the corner of Lee Hwy and Bonny Oaks Dr. without incident.

On 05/25/2020 at approximately 01:45 hours, Officer M Estock (82259) reported a memo at 150 River St. Upon arrival Officer made contact with Mr. Jamal Whitehead who stated multiple individuals were following him and his two female companions aroundthis location. Mr. Whitehead stated he felt very uncomfortable and simply required officers presence. Officers observed the locationand did not observe any other suspicious parties. Mr. Whitehead did not have any suspect information. No further at this time.

On 05/25/2020 at 01:40 hours, Ofc. Allison #237, Ofc. Wiegand #1104 reported a suspicious activity at 2929 Hamill Rd. Upon arrival police made contact with the driver Josephine Ledford. Mrs. Ledford stated that the truck TN had run stopped running around 9pm and they pulled into the parking lot to try and fix it. Police observed James Ledford under the truck attempting to fix it. Both parties were negative for any valid warrants. Nothing further.

On 05/25/2020 at 07:35 hours, Officer William Bernitt (77564) responded to a Theft from Motor Vehicle at 4057 Arbor Place Ln. Upon arrival police spoke with Shawnta Toliver who stated her vehicle had been broken into and $68 in cash stolen sometime during the night. Ms. Toliver stated her vehicle was locked but she had accidentally left the widow open on the driver side door. The suspects appeared to have unlocked the vehicle through the open window. The fuse box to the vehicle had also been pried open. Nothing else was taken from the vehicle. No suspect information is known at this time. Nothing further.

On 05/28/2020 at 16:04 hours, Officer Simpson (83694) wrote a continuation/supplement for a Theft of Other Trailer at 702 Mount Vernon Ave. While conducting routine patrol, I happened to see the trailer at Chattanooga Head Start at 1510 Hamilton Ave. Auto crimes was notified and the trailer was released to the owner. The lawn mower and edger were not with the trailer.

On 05/25/2020 at 09:51 hours, Officer K. Otto (1077) responded to a report of an abandon vehicle in the area of 379 Highway 27 S.B. When checking the area I did discover a Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) vehicle in the left emergency lane behind a gold Audi A4. When checking the vehicle I found no obvious damage and no one in the vehicle. The vehicle was determined to be a hazard to traffic due to the right rear of the vehicle being over the left fog line on the freeway. The vehicle was removed from the freeway by Cain’s Towing.

Maya stated that she and her boyfriend, Demarrio Fitzpatrick, got in a verbal only altercation inside her vehicle in front of thehappy mart. Maya stated that she was perfectly fine but did not want Demarrio riding with her. Demarrio stated that he had a friend who lived behind Dollar General and would gladly walk to his home. No further.

On 05/25/2020 at 10:31 hours, Officer Stansberry (61910) responded to a Other Theft/Non-Specific at 2351 Shallowford Village Dr (Sleep Inn). Upon arrival complainant (Coty Mathews) stated his and girlfriends, Apple 5, (Nike series) watches had been taken from their hotel room. Complainant stated the watches were last seen on the nitestand charging around 1300 hrs on the 24th. Complainant stated housekeeping was cleaning the room next door during that time. Complainant stated he attempted to speak with management ,and housekeeping who were not helpful. Complainant stated he did track one of the watches at 1512 hrs, which was within 350 feet of the hotel room before the watch battery died. Complainant stated the watches are valued at approximately $1400.00 and will give the cooperate office a call regarding the incident. Officers spoke with housekeeping supervisor Lashonda Appling who stated she had spoke with her housekeepers and all were unfamiliar with the incident.

The subject left the premises upon arrival without further incident.

The complainant stated that she is been harassed by Mrs. Ward. The complainant stated that she has told Mrs. Ward to stop multiple times and it hasn't. The complainant wanted a report for when Mrs. Ward contacts her again she will want to press charges at that time. Nothing else follows at this time.

On 05/25/2020 at 13:10 hours, Officer K. Otto (1077) responded to a report of a disorder at 3805 Memphis Dr. Upon arrival I found no active disorder. When making contact inside the residence I was met by Michael Bunch. Mr. Bunch stated that his cousin and his cousin’s babies mother had gotten into a loud verbal argument a short time earlier but they had left. At the time of contact with Mr. Bunch I found no evidence of a physical disorder. The call was then closed with no further action taken.

On 05/25/2020 at 13:20 hours I, Officer King (78347), responded to a Vandalism at 2106 Blackford St. Upon arrival I spoke to the victim, Ms. Cherylmaine Stanley. Ms. Stanley stated that at some time between 2200 hours on May 24th and 1200 hours on May 25th her vehicle was vandalized. Ms. Stanley showed several scratches on the driver's side front and rear door. Ms. Stanley thinks that may be her neighbor or someone that hangs out at her neighbor's house but at this time there is no evidence to support that. No further Police action was taken.

On 05/25/2020 at 15:48 hours, Officer Stansberry (61910) responded to a Damaged Property Accidental at 8852 Old Lee Hwy. Complainant was taking the Ford Ranger (currently not registered ) to his home in Ooltewah. Complainant has owned the vehicle several years and it sat in the yard of a former home in Apison. Complainant stated he put a battery on and attempted to move the vehicle approximately four miles to the new residence when it caught fire. Complainant pulled off the roadway and called fire dept. There was no other property damage other than the vehicle , valued at approximately $300.00. Complainant called his own wrecker (Bill Lockhart) to tow the vehicle.

Police responded to the above address on reports of a disorder. Police arrived on scene and spoke with Ms. Sherrilyn Moore who is the mother of Ms. Aprol Lanier. Ms. Moore stated that Ms. Lanier was intoxicated and she wished to have her removed from the home. Ms. Lanier and Ms. Moore both stated that Ms. Lanier has been living here and pays for multiple bills. Police explained to Ms. Moore that we could not forcibly remove Ms. Lanier from the property, however Ms. Lanier stated that she was going to gather some belongings and leave. Ms. Lanier had a friend at this location who was waiting on her so they could leave. Police left without incident. No further at this time.

I responded to reports of a block party at this location. Upon arrival vehicles were blocking the streets and there were many people outside drinking alcoholic beverages. I turned my lights and sirens on and cleared the streets for traffic. Upon initiating my lights most of the music stopped and people began to either calm down or leave the area.

The complainant stated that her vehicle had been broken into and she is not sure when. She stated that the back right rear window had be broken out and that her purse was taken which included her TN ID and her cards. There is no suspect information at this time. Nothing else follows.

On 05/26/2020 at 10:27 hours, Officer Stansberry (61910) responded to a Vandalism at 1833 Gunbarrel Rd. Upon arrival at Goo Goo car wash , officers spoke with complainant and manager Ray Hill. On 052520 at approximately 2326 hours, the facility was closed when a Uhaul truck enters the rear entry barricaded area of the parking lot. Two subjects (1, male , 1 female) exit the truck and began pulling on the PVC pipes to the vacuum's. The subjects went to nearly every vacuums and purposely damaged the pipes. The subjects and vehicle then left property. Officers observed video surveillance of the Uhaul truck and subjects. Officers were unable to obtain a tag number off of the Uhaul truck at this time. Complainant stated earlier the previous day workers had ran off a white male, glasses , beard, approximately 25-35 years old digging thru the dumpsters wearing jeans, gray shirt, brown ball cap w/ red writing carrying a rolled up black shirt. Complainant also stated on the 25th at approximately 2151 hours, prior to the Uhaul truck, there were two other subjects (1 male, 1 female) who came thru the lot from the same area, on bicycles. The male subject was wearing gray shorts, white sleeveless shirt , dark colored ball cap, wearing two backpacks, pushing a bicycle carrying several bags. The female subject was wearing black shorts , gray t shirt, sandals, blond hair, pushing a bicycle. At this time it is unknown if these are the same subjects in the Uhaul truck. Complainant estimated the damage at approximately $1500.00.

On 05/26/2020 at 11:30 hours I, Officer King (78347), responded to Suspicious Activity at 1807 Rubio St. Upon arrival I spoke to the complainant, Ms. Nakisha Franklin. Ms. Franklin stated that her ex-boyfriend, Mr. Anthony Thurman, came to her house to drop off items that belonged to her. A short time after he left her house she went back outside and saw that the front driver's side door was open on her vehicle. Nothing appeared to be taken at this time and there was no damage to the vehicle. She thinks that her ex-boyfriend may have opened the door but had no proof of it and did not see him do it. No further Police action was taken.

On 05/26/2020 at 13:41 hours, Officer Frazier (68396) reported a memo at 5505 Brainerd Rd. Upon arrival, police spoke with manager Jason at Motel 6. Jason wanted police to check on a party in one of the rooms. Police made contact with Marcus Grissom who was fine, however Jason wanted him vacated and trespassed from the property. Police trespassed Marcus and told him to be out in a timely manner.

On 05/26/2020 at 14:00 hours, Officer Frazier (68396) reported a memo at 490 Greenway View Dr. Upon arrival, an unknown caller called in stating that a female and male driving a green Chevy Impala was messing with the tags of the vehicle. Police made contact with Austin Conrad who stated that he just got his tags this morning, bought screws from Walmart, and then put his tag on his vehicle. Police verified his story.

On 05/26/2020 at 14:29 hours, Officer Franks (68395) reported a memo at 1503 Wheeler Ave. Upon making contact with the RP Ms. Charlena Harris. Ms. Harris informed me that a Mr. Jalen Tipton had come into her residence and was unwelcome. Ms. Harris informed me that she felt that Mr. Tipton was disrespectful and therefore was unwelcome within her residence. Ms. Harris informedme that Mr. Tipton was on parole and that she had made contact with his parole officer following his arrival at her residence. Ms. Harris informed me that following her informing Mr. Tipton that she had called his parole officer, Mr. Tipton left the residence. Ms. Harris did not have any injuries resulting from Mr. Tipton and that it was strictly a verbal encounter. No further to report at this time.

On 05/26/2020 at 14:45 hours, Officer Hauge (79528) reported a memo at 3605 Brainerd Rd. Police were called to an intoxicated party in front of Walgreen's. Police made contact with Mr. Forman who was laying on the ground in front of Walgreen's. Police told Mr. Forman to leave the area and he was not allowed to sleep in front of the store. Mr. Forman got up under his own power and cleaned up his property prior to leaving the property.

The party identified himself as Dusty and that he was looking for a female party. Mr. Strum stated that he informed the party that no one by that he hadthe wrong residence. The boyfriend Mike Peso nevershowed up to pick up Ms. Williams. The last communication Ms. Williams had with Mr. Peso was at 0100. Ms. Williams stated that she is not overly concerned about the car but does need her keys to enter her apartment and the vehicle to get to work. Ms. Williams stated she was more concerned about the wellbeing of Mr. Peso. Being that Ms. Williams does not have a current address for Mr. Peso police could not do a wellness check. Upon arrival, I spoke with the complainant, Phyllis Miller, who stated that earlier this morning her security camera caught someone getting into her vehicle and then back out of it. I watched the video footage and the suspect was a tall, small buildwhite male wearing all white. The male got into the white Accura SUV and also the gray Subaru Outback. Ms. Miller stated that he only took the two remote gate openers that she had. I looked for fingerprints but did not locate any. There were no breaches in Ms. Millers' fence. Ms. Miller just wanted to make a report of the incident. No further actions were taken by the police at this time.

Mr. Banner stated he stopped the w/m suspect who then took off running and was last seen around the Taco Bell restaurant on Shallowford Rd.

The shoes were valued at $70.00 dollars.

Small told me that she was trying to run a Credit Karma report but was having problems. Small told me that she believes her social security number and her ex-step mother have become linked on Credit Karma. Small told me that she was told she needed to make a police report about this. Small was not sure who told her she needed to make a police report. Small also told me that the ex-step mother is linked with her on a TV company, but was not sure what company. Small's ex-step mother is Corina Mapp. I told Small that all the credit report companies should have a way to contest an entry on ones report. Small was unable to show me any possible criminal offense perpetrated by Corina Mapp at this time. No further action was needed.

Mr. Watkins stated the disorder started out in reference to him and the other party passing each other on Brock Rd. Mr. Watkins stated that the other party got out and was banging on the back of his truck, which Mr. Watkins believes is the source of a dent he didn’t see before. Mr. Watkins showed Police a photo of the man who appeared to be a W/M in his 50’s with an average height and build. During Mr. Watkins interview with Police he decided he did not want to “waste his time” and decided he did not want to file a report or press charges.

He stated that then the male party ran off. Mr. Ramirez stated that he did not know the party and that he did not want to press charges. Mr. Ramirez denied medical attention and stated that he and his friend would be drinking inside from now on. No other witnesses or evidence were collected during this incident. Officers observed three individuals who were later identified as Mr. Kevin Snider, Ms. Melissa Pinion, and Mr. Charles Brown. all individuals matched suspect description and were observed carrying multiple backpacks and garbage bags. Officers initiated contact with individuals. Mr. Snider informed officers they were sleeping farther north of this location and were relocating south due to the rain. Officers confirmed these were not the suspects. All parties were sent on their way. No further at this time.

Police observed that neither the vehicle of trailer did not have a license plate displayed. Police identified the driver as Michael Ward. Mr. Ward stated that he has not had time to get the vehicle registered and was not aware that trailers needed plates. The driver stated the he recently received a ticket from East Ridge PD for the registration violation. Mr. Ward was negative for current valid warrants and the vehicle or trailer were not reported as stolen. Police informed Mr. Ward that now that things are opening back up after Covid-19 he needed to get the vehicle and trailer registered. Police issued Mr. Ward a verbal warning and released. On 05/28/2020 at 09:30 hours, Officer B. Martin (62436) responded to a MVT/Passenger Vehicle at 608 Cherokee Blvd.. Upon arrival, I spoke with Kenny Burke, Cain's Wrecker, regarding the theft of a 1999 gold Ford Ranger they had recovered a few days earlier. Burke told me that between 0130 and 0200 last night a shadowy figure can be seen entering their lot. Burke told me that the suspect go's straight to the Ford Ranger and enters the vehicle. He tells me that the lights come on and the vehicle backs up. The suspect then moves to the gate and strikes the gate with the truck. Burke says that the suspect then backs up and rams the gate. The gate was damaged due to the actions of the suspect. In the process of smashing through the gate, it appears a window on the truck was damaged. There is video at the business but no suspect identification can be determined. The vehicle was entered into NCIC using NIC# V502007601.

The Police arrived on scene and located a beige in color Chevy Suburban that was occupied by two persons Mr. James Scott and Mr. Jordan Saunders, the two suspects said they had pulled down the gravel access road towards the tracks to take a nap since the rainy weather had canceled their landscape work project and didn't know they were trespassing on Federal Property. The two persons were checked for warrants, but none were found. The suspects were escorted off of the Railroad Property without incident.

On 05/28/2020 at 20:41 hours, Officer Simpson (83694) reported a memo at 619 Spears Ave. Ms. Bell called back in stating that Mr. Smith had threatened her saying he would burn her house down with her in it. Police were able to make contact with Mr. Smith at 307 Cherokee Blvd. He stated that he never threatened her at all and that Ms. Bell was bipolar. Ms. Duncan informed me she believed she paid $150 yesterday for staying at the motel, however, the payment did not successfully go through. In return, Ms. Jones was refusing to give Ms. Duncan her security deposit back as Ms. Duncan never paid for her stay. Such caused Ms. Duncan to become disorderly. I informed Ms. Duncan, at the request of Ms. Jones, that she is trespassed from the property of the Chatt Inn and if she returns would be arrested for criminal trespassing. Ms. Duncan retrieved all her belongings from inside of her room and left without incident. Nothing further.

Mr. Readus stated that he has no idea as to how this happened. He says that he does not know the cost to replace the window glass.

On 05/28/2020 at 18:50 hours, I Officer M. Dunlop #526 responded to a MVT/Other at 3101 E 30th St. Upon arrival police spoke with the complainant a Mr. John Holmes who stated that his 1996 White Jeep CSE that he just bought from a Ms. Judy Henderson was stolen on 05/20/2020. Ms. Henderson who was on scene stated that she had sold Mr. Henderson the Jeep for $400. She was able to show police the paperwork where she signed over the title to Mr. Holmes. She also stated that the vehicle had not been used for 8 years and had been sitting in her yard since 2012. She stated that the vehicle used to be her work car until 2012 when she took it off her insurance plan and took the license plate off. Mr. Holmes stated that he bought the car from Ms. Henderson and then had to go out of town for business. He let his employee a Mr. Lemonte Garrett use the car while he was gone. Mr. Holmes stated that Mr. Garrett was driving the car east bound on I 24 on 05/20/2020 when the car broke down near the South Rossville Blvd Exit. According to Mr. Holmes, Mr. Garrett then left the car and came back a few hours later and the car was gone. None of the parties have any idea who took the car or where it is.Ms. Henderson said that the only identifying feature of the car is that the steering wheel is on the right side of the car. Nothing of value was inside the vehicle when it was taken. No other information was used in this investigation. No further police action was taken.

Mr lattimer stated that he had been showing Joseph Pickett and Nattalie Smith (RP) a high powered laser and left after being told to leave. Police then spoke with Nattalie Smith and Joseph Pickett who stated that Joshua Lattimer was being obnoxious with the use of his laser and was shining it in the building. Police then spoke with the cashier at speedway (Mary Wynn) who stated that Mr. Lattimer was annoying the customers but that she did not want him trespassed at this time. Mr. Lattimer left without issue, no further police action required at this time.

Upon getting into the area, I searched for the suspect but could not locate her. The suspect was wearing a white tank top and black pants and was an extremely skinny white female. When I could not locate her, I spoke with the complainant, Sydney Tillman, who stated that she had been watching the woman for about 45 minutes and when she tried to leave the store, Ms. Tillman informed her that stealing is illegal and the woman started running. The woman stole make-up and clothing articles worth approximately $55. I searched the area once more and left the scene when I could not load her. No further actions were taken at this time.

On 05/29/2020 at 10:40 hours, Officer Lockhart (66490) and Officer Nye (84857) responded to an Auto Theft at 4295 Cromwell Rd. Upon arrival, I spoke with the complainant and victim, Hugo Scavuzzo. Mr. Scavuzzo had video footage of someone stealing his camper using an unrecognizable pick-up truck on 05/27/2020 at approximately 22:37. Dispatch informed me that they believed that the camper was located yesterday morning by a Baker Unit but was not recovered because they could not get the owner on the phone. I verified the tag number with Mr. Scavuzzo and had a Baker unit confirm it was still at 2882 Harrison Pike. It was still there so I had Mr. Scavuzzo meet me over there. The camper was unoccupied and the window was broken on the door. Mr. Scavuzzo arrived and I released the camper to him. No further actions were taken by the police.

Mr. Mills informed me he was sent photos of the truck (FedEx USDOT 164025) truck # ESFX3811. Mr. Mills informed me the truck had some how got stuck in the grassy area of the parking lot and tore up the area during the recovery of the vehicle. Mr. Mills wanted such documented for repair purposes. Mr. Mills estimated the cost of repair to be $3,000 but is unsure exactly how much it will cost. Nothing further.

The caller stated that he wanted police to have these parties move somewhere else. Officers made contact with the parties at this location, Cynthia Robertson and David Houser, who stated that they were homeless and had been living on the outside of this building for at least a few weeks. They stated they were unaware the owner was trying tosell the building and said they would gather their things and leave the area. Ms. Wilson stated that the house is currently being renovated and is possibly condemned. Ms. Wilson stated she is currently involved in the court system trying to evict Ms. Cassandra. Ms. Wilson was wishing to have reported that she will be changing the locks on the house at this address. She stated that no one has been living in the house for over 30 days and there is still belongings at the residence that belong to Ms. Cassandra. Carl stated he parked the vehicle around 16:00 and returned around 20:00 hrs. Carl stated when he returned he noticed his vehicle had rummaged through. Carl stated he Wife's purse was moved from the back to the front. Carl also stated all the stuff in his glove box had been thrown on the floor and his firearm( property #1 Taurus Revolver (stolen)) was stolen. Carl stated while he was parking he noticed an unknown male watching him and his wife while they parked their vehicle. Carl stated the unknown male appeared to be homeless. Carl stated the male had long white/gray hair and beard. Carl also stated the male had a green book bag with brown boots on . The unknown male was not on scene when police arrived. No suspect information known at this time. The firearm was entered into NCIC. No further.

Ms. Johnson stated that one of her employees reported to her that a red Jeep towing a trailer has rubbed the metal siding at the drive through while pulling up to the window. Ms. Johnson stated that after the Jeep pulled off, the employee noticed a small dent it the red metal siding on the corner of where the drive-thru window is located. Ms. Johnson requested a Police report. No Further Police action taken.

On 05/30/2020 at 04:50 hours, Officer Ayres (82234) responded to a miscellaneous complaint at 2505 Kirby Ave. Upon arrival I spoke with Marina Perez Lopez. Ms. Perez Lopez stated her ex-husband and his new girlfriend keep coming to her residence and bothering her. Ms. Perez Lopez stated this is verbal only and she does not want them on her property. Ms. Perez Lopez wished tohave them both trespassed from her property and to have them arrested if they return. Mr. Morales does not have any United States identification and Ms. Perez Lopez was unable to provide any identifying information regarding Mr. Morales' new girlfriend. Ms. Perez Lopez will call back if either Mr. Morales or his girlfriend return and wishes to have them both arrested if they are on scene upon police arrival.

No further action was taken for this incident.

On 05/30/2020 at 07:07 hours, Officer Gross (84850) viewed a car that was smoking heavily from the engine compartment. Police pulled over the driver at 4100 Bonny Oaks Dr to conduct a wellbeing check. Police verified that the vehicle was not on fire but viewed the vehicle had blown the oil cap off and the entire engine compartment was covered in oil. Police spoke with Mr. Robert Wynn who arranged for his sister to come and pick him up. The vehicle was parked out of the roadway. Nothing further at this time.

On 05/30/2020 at 09:20 hours, Officer Sanchez (73514) responded to a Damaged Property Accidental at 1615 E 47th St. I spoke with the complainant, James Brown ), who explained that over the past few days he has been noticing various dents and scratches to his vehicle that he believes is happening overnight. This morning James woke up and went to his vehicle around 0900 and saw that there were new scratches to the sides of the vehicle, and dents to the rear and front of the vehicle. He believes that the damage caused to the vehicle will be approximately $400. James stated that he lives in an area where there is a lot of foot traffic. He does not know who it could have been, and there is no suspect information. Nothing further.

He stated Omar Wilson had given him a counterfeit $20 bill. Police next spoke with Mr. Wilson who remained on scene. He stated to police he received the bill from his mother who had gotten it from the Speedway on Lee Hwy. The bill was turned into the Chattanooga Property Division. Nothing further.

William stated that the he has been having problems with the people who live in apartment Apparently, they are parking in his parking space, even though the lanes are not numbered. William said that he is handicapped, and one particular space is supposed to be labeled that way but is not. Police told William to contact his apartment manager. Also, police wanted to speak with the tenants of but they did not answer the door. Police told William to contact dispatch if any other problems should arise.

Miricle stated that her grandmother had already vacated the premises and that nothing out of the ordinary occurred. Everything seemed okay upon police departure.

The complainant stated the his firearm had been taken out of his vehicle. The complainant stated that his vehicle had been left unlocked and that his pistol had been in the vehicle. The firearm is a Glock 19 Gen 4 (S/N BDLZ167). I contact the NCIC clerk and had the firearm entered in as stolen under NIC#G305028191. There is no suspect information at this time. Nothing else follows.

On 05/30/2020 at 19:10 hours, Officer Pierre (84860) responded to a disorder at 450 Cherokee Blvd. Upon arrival on scene police spoke with the complainant (Rogers Brooks) who stated that he was traveling East on Cherokee Blvd. in his vehicle when a truck towing a trailer with a construction equipment heading West on Cherokee made a U-turn in the road in front of him. The truck was blocking the road so Mr. Brooks stated he honked his horn at the driver. Mr. Brooks stated the driver then climbed out of the truck and started to walk towards Mr. Brooks then turned around and climbed back in his truck. Mr. Brooks stated that after the truck got itself turned around it was traveling East in the right lane. Mr. Brooks stated that he attempted to pass the truck in the left lane and the truck then swerved towards him twice. Mr. Brooks stated that he took video of the truck when it swerved towards him the 2nd time. Upon viewing the video police noted the truck did appear to drift over towards Mr. Brooks vehicle however no contact was made. Mr. Brooks stated the logo on the truck was for "Remarkable Restoration" and the license plate was ( . Upon running the tag it stated the owner was "Equipment Viking." Police searched the area but did not locate the truck.

On 05/30/2020 at 19:10 hours, Officer Mark Livesay (79884) reported a memo at 325 Magnolia Vale Dr. Police responded to this location from an anonymous caller who stated that there was a male party in a vehicle slumped over the wheel. Police located the vehicle along with EMS. EMS cleared the driver, Mr. Casey Larkin, of any physical issues. A friend of Mr. Larkin was able to take him safely home. No further.

On 05/30/2020 at 22:15 hours, Officer J. Fincher (84846) responded to a Vandalism at 428 Booth Rd. Police made contact with witness Stephen Collins, who stated he saw a black female with a pink shirt throwing a metal chair at Lehmon Taylor's vehicle. Thevehicle had major damage to the front and rear windshield. Mr. Collins stated it appeared to be the female, Ryan Smith, from a previous call at that address on this day, reference (20-052873). Mr. Collins was unable to positively identify Ms. Smith as the female who did the damage. No further suspect information is available at this time. No further.

On 05/30/2020 at 23:05 hours, Officer Dewayne Prater (60839) reported a memo at 207 Tacoa Ave. Police responded to this location on a disorder call. Upon arrival police spoke with Mr. Darius Patterson. Police spoke with Mr. Patterson's grandparents. The grandparents told police they want Mr. Patterson to leave their home and not to return. Mr. Patterson told police he would leave his grandparents home with no problem. Mr. Patterson collected his items and left the area. There was no further police action taken.

On 05/31/2020 at 11:15 hours, Officer Sanchez (73514) responded to a Damaged Property Accidental at 3907 Calhoun Ave. Upon arrival I spoke with the complainant, Donnie Brown ( ), who explained that sometime during the night an unknown party broke the rear window of his Chevrolet Blazer (TN tag of as it was parked in his driveway. Donnie stated that the last time he saw the vehicle without damage was last night around 2000hrs. When he woke up this morning he noticed the broken window, valued at approximately $500 worth of damage.It is unknown who caused the damage. There are no suspects. Nothing further at this time.

On 06/01/2020 at 16:00 hours, I, Investigator Chris Bruce is conducting an investigation into Disorderly Conduct at 150 River St.

On 05/30/2020, On May 30, 2020, Chattanooga Police Officers responded to several protests in which protesters had occupied the streets to included Market St, Frazier Ave, and Tremont St. The protesters traveled over towards the Market Street Bridge. At approximately 22:09 hours, As Chattanooga Police Officers, Hamilton County Sheriffs Office Deputies, and Tennessee Highway Patrol Officers, were attempting to disperse the protesters. It was discovered, Charles Toney pushed two City of Chattanooga Trash Cans onto the middle of the intersection of River Street and Tremont Street. Mr. Toney was then seen turning over the trash cans which caused trash to be emptied onto the street. This action from Mr. Toney incited others to engage in a riot and violent behavior. These acts of violence stems from a protest of George Floyd. From there, two more individuals emptied a Trash Dumpster which was full of garbage onto the street as well. This incident was captured by the CPD Real Time Intelligence Center Cameras and preserved on video.

This is an on going investigation.

On 06/02/2020 at 12:27 hours, PIT McMahan (61444) responded to a Property Lost at 7616 Asherton Ln at the victim's former home address. The victim said that he bought a vehicle from a dealership in Atlanta, GA right before Easter this year and they weresupposed to mail the tag to his home. Since that time, a Tornado struck the victim's home and destroyed it, so he's no longer living there. He said that he later found out that UPS had tried to deliver the tag to his former home but now they don't know where it is orwhat happened to it. He does not know the tag#. On 06/03/2020 at 08:38 hours, Officer C. Glenn (60757) responded to a False Pretenses/Swindle/Confidence Game at 1301 Riverfront Pkwy.

I spoke with Brian Starnes of F2F Transport, by telephone. He says that after hours on 27 May, 2020, two employees were scammed out of $19,702.68 by an unknown party claiming to be a repair service for some company owned vehicles.

There were numerous transactions on the company's 'WEX Bank" account. Those transactions are listed in the attached PDF in investigative documents.

In the process of entering the report, I made two mistakes in the narrative. These errors have been corrected in RMS to show incident date 27 May, 2020 and the correct amount of $19.-,702.68.
