BUY A ROSE, HELP TO SAVE A LIFE! The Respect Life Committee invites you to honor your mother, grandmother, godmother, aunt
or other special woman in your life by purchasing roses at the entrances to both church buildings on Mother's Day Weekend, May11and 12 after all Masses. Proceeds of the sale will be split between Pro-Life Wisconsin and the Women's Support Centers of Milwaukee. Through
your support, you empower the WSC to accomplish the positive work of "saving lives, touching hearts and helping souls - one woman at a time."
RAINBOW OLYMPICS IS TUESDAY, MAY 21 Please remember that drop off and pick up is at the Mequon campus for Rainbow Olympics. For
drop off instructions and more details please refer to the flyer and map in the Thursday folder. Your kids will be bringing home their “team” assignment this week. This is a great day for everyone! There will be an All School Mass at 8:30 prior to the start of Rainbow Olympics.
There will not be regular school Masses on Wednesday in Thiensville or Thursday in Mequon since the students will have Mass on Tuesday together. Mass will still be said for the parishioners.
LAST CALL FOR BOX TOPS AND CAMPBELL’S SOUP LABELS Clean out the pantry for summer! Tear off those box tops so they aren’t floating around all
summer. Box tops and Campbell’s soup labels will be collected in the classroom the last two weeks of May. Thanks for helping our school!
SHAMROCK NEEDS YOU!! Shamrock 2013 was a huge success thanks to ALL of the volunteers who helped! Planning for
next year will be underway on Wednesday May 22 at 7:00PM in St. James Hall. If you are interested in learning more about open committee positions, please be sure to attend! Shamrock is a great way to get involved meeting other parents while helping to support
our school. It really is amazing to be part of such a great event!!
“GIVE BACKS” FOR MAY Thursday, May 9 Lorain’s will donate 20% of all sales for the entire day. They will have special
evening hours with wine and appetizers from 5-8pm. Tuesday, May 21 Nines at River Club will donate 10% of all dinner sales from 5:00-9:00pm with the mention of Lumen Christi.
VOLUNTEER NEEDED TO PROVIDE TRACTOR/WAGON FOR PARADE Lumen Christi Catholic School has traditionally participated in the Family Fun Before the Fourth Parade. This year the parade will be on June 29th at 10:00am. We are in need of a volunteer with a tractor and hay wagon to help us show off our school spirit! If you are able to help,

DSHA SOFTBALL CAMP FOR GRADES 6–9 This is a great opportunity to get introduced to the game of fast-pitch softball, meet student-
athletes and coaches within the program, and learn basic skills needed to play the game. The camp provides instruction in the fundamentals of fielding, throwing and hitting. The sessions
will also focus on proper defensive rotation and include an introduction to proper techniques and skills for catchers. Enrollment is limited to 30 girls. (Please be sure to see the flyer attached in the Thursday Folder) Fee: $85

G-FORCE SUMMER SAND VOLLEYBALL CAMP ALL ABOUT SUMMER SAND: Come learn the secrets about why G-Force VBC is one of the top
volleyball clubs in the State of Wisconsin. Our coaching staff will share their knowledge about how to become a much better volleyball player! Every participant will receive a new volleyball, t-shirt, two or three volleyball evaluations, many valuable volleyball handouts along with
excellent coaching for a VERY affordable price. Again this year, we will be having an "Elite" session for each group along with adding another morning session starting at 8:15a. Note: The "Elite" group can be of any age. It is a player who displays a high level of volleyball control and wants to work hard while attending her/his session. We will once again be flexible with the times and offer group, and/or team discounts. A one-time $25 referral deduction will be subtracted from any G-Force Summer Sand member from the 2012 season when they bring
in any NEW player/friend which has paid in full. Note: This does not include 2011 or earlier G-Force Summer Sand players. Only one $25 referral discount and/or early bird special allowed
per player paid in full.
