Please add to your dairy -Tuesday 24 March, 7.00pm - 8.30 pm for our super parent information session: ‘Reading at Home - Daily 5 Style’. We would like to demonstrate and discuss some of the reading strategies we use at school to help you with reading at home. We hope it will give you an insight into the goals that your children are aiming to achieve in their reading and how to assist them. Please note the change of date for our Athletics Carnival to Wednesday 25 March. We thank Albury High for allowing us the use of Alexandra Park on this day. Please come along and support your children and their houses in this annual carnival. Children will need to return the orange updated permission note to the office. All children are expected to attend as this is a component of our school sporting calendar. Congratulations to Liam Rule for his selection into the Albury District PSSA Basketball Team. We wish him well in his endeavours to gain selection at the next level – Riverina. Kind Regards Joan Courtney Relieving Principal

School Contributions
It is that time of year when the school asks that families consider paying their school contribution. At our last P & C meeting the Voluntary School Contribution was set as $45 per child. A note will be forwarded to families in the near future. We ask that you give due consideration to the payment of fees as this money is important in providing resources for our classrooms. Payments can be made by EFTPOS at the School.
2015 School Captains My name is Kai Wilson and I am 10 years old.
I enjoy playing lots of different sports and my favourites are AFL, Soccer, Basketball and Cricket. I wanted to be in the school leadership group as I feel that I have the right aspects to contribute and help the teachers and students. I like to lead by example and show respect, be honest and treat everybody equally. I hope to contribute to making a difference to the school. I am looking forward to the year ahead and will be representing the school with pride.
Hi, my name is Asha Smith. Out of school I do dancing, trampolining, singing and water polo. I will try to be a good School captain in 2015 and will help others. I will to listen to teachers and other students, always make sure everyone around me is happy and that I am a good role model for all students at our school. What I am looking forward to this year as School Captain is marching in the Anzac Day parade and holding the flag, laying the wreath at the Anzac Day and Remembrance Day ceremonies and representing our school whenever I can.
