EditorialProgramm: In dieser Broschüre stellen wir Ihnen unsere Produkte für die Bereiche Conferencing und Auditorium vor: Tische und Tischanlagen, Sideboards, Sessel und Stühle – hochwertige Möbel, die Qualität, Funktionalität und Langlebigkeit miteinander verbin-den. Das Design ist zurückhaltend, klar und elegant, die Materialien und ihre Verarbeitung von höchstem Anspruch. Die Besonderheit: Alle Komponenten aus furnierten Hölzern werden in Maserung und Beizton aufeinander abgestimmt.

Kundenspezifische Lösungen: Eine Spezialität von Thonet. Auf Basis unserer Standards planen und fertigen wir individuelle Möbel, zugeschnitten auf die Bedürfnisse unserer Kunden, sei es in Größe und Form des Raums sowie auf das Material- und Farbkonzept.

Program: In this brochure we present our products for the areas Conferencing and Auditorium: tables and table systems, sideboards, armchairs and chairs – high-quality furniture combining quality, functionality, and durability. The designs are understated, clear and elegant, and the materials and their processing comply with the highest standards. The media technology is integrated into the functionality slot that runs along the middle of the tabletop. A 1700 wurde speziell für den Tagungs-, Konferenz- und Schulungs-bereich entwickelt. Die Anforderungen der modernen Arbeitswelt werden auf technisch anspruchsvolle und ästhetisch ansprechende Weise erfüllt. Das Programm eignet sich sowohl zur Ausstattung von unterschiedlich genutzten Räumen als auch zur Einrichtung mit permanenten Tischanlagen.

A 1700 was especially developed for the conference, meeting, and training sectors. It meets with the requirements of modern working life in a technologically sophisticated and aesthetically appealing way. Eine Vielzahl an Standard-Komponenten in unterschiedlichen Maßen stehen zur Wahl. Aus diesen Elementen lassen sich Einzel-tische oder auch komplexe Tischanlagen realisieren. Die Tischhöhe ist generell 74 cm.

Sichtblenden bieten eine visuelle Abschirmung. Varianten aus Acryl-glas, Lochblech oder furniertem Sperrholz; auch individuelle Formen und Radien sind möglich.

Einfache Handhabung. Selbst große Tischanlagen können von nur einer Person auf- und abgebaut werden. Dafür gibt es eine spezielle Auf- und Abbauhilfe. Die Größe der Plattenwagen kann den örtli-chen Gegebenheiten angepasst werden (Türbreite, Lift usw.).

Screens offer visual protection. Variations made of acrylic, perfora-ted sheet metal or veneered plywood are available, as are various shapes and radiuses.

Easy handling. Even large table systems can be assembled and disassembled by just one person. A special tool was designed for this purpose. The size of the tabletop cart can be adjusted to the customer’s local situation (size of doors, elevator etc.).

ConferencingEinfache und effektive Kommunikation mit modernster Technik – ein zentraler Aspekt bei unseren Programmen. Alle Tische und Tischan-lagen lassen sich individuell mit Medien- und Kommunikationstech-nik ausrüsten. Und dies so raffiniert, dass sie nahezu unsichtbar ist. Geräte und Anschlussboxen sind unter den Tischplatten angeordnet. Die Medienklappen, die sich durch sanfte Berührung öffnen und schließen, sind bündig in die Tischplatten eingelassen und haben dieselbe Oberfläche bzw. dasselbe Furnierbild. So stört nichts die klare, hochwertige Anmutung des Möbels.

Simple and effective communication with modern technology is a key aspect of our table programmes. All of our tables and table systems can be individually equipped with media and communi-cations technology, and it’s done so artfully that the technology is nearly invisible. Hardware and connection boxes are placed under the tabletop. The media ports, which can be opened and closed with a light touch, are flush with the table top and have exactly the same finish as the table itself so as to not disturb the clear, high quality character of the furniture.

Die Elektrifizierung ist einfach und nahezu unsichtbar gelöst. Vom Bodentank werden die Kabel in den Tischbeinen zum Ka-belkanal unter der Platte geführt. Das Thonet Multimedia Modul bietet verschiedene Anschlussmöglichkeiten. Zusätzlich lassen sich Anschlussbuchsen für Mikrofone usw. integrieren. Je nach Bedarf werden PCs und Bildschirme flächenbündig in die Tischplatten eingelassen.

ConferencingMedia Sideboard

Die Kombination mit dem Media Sideboard bietet eine perfekte Lösung für Präsentationen und Video-Konferenzen. Es kann mit Plasma- und TFT-Bildschirmen ausgerüstet werden, mit integrierter oder separater Kamera. Auch Touch Screen-Lösungen sind möglich. Vollautomatisch öffnet sich die obere Abdeckung und der Bildschirm fährt nach oben.

The Media Sideboard is the perfect solution for video conferences and presentations. It can be equiped with plasma or TFT screens and with an integrated or separate video camera. The top of the sideboard opens automatically by remote control, and the screen rises up on a motorized lift.

Das Merkmal dieser Stühle ist die akzentuierte konstruktive Trennung von Sitzschale und Untergestell. Sie bieten hohen Sitzkomfort und eine warme, lebendige Anmutung. Durch den Einsatz verschiedener Furniere, Beiztöne und durch unterschiedliche Bezüge in Leder oder Stoff lässt sich der Charakter des Stuhls verändern. Elegant und zeitlos in der Gestaltung, raffiniert in der Technik. Die modularen Elemente der Tischplatten bieten eine Vielzahl von Größen und Varianten. Das Programm ist für den schnellen Auf-, Um- und Abbau konzipiert: Dabei werden die Tischbeine werkzeuglos durch Drehen des Rohres fest in der Platte fixiert. Das Raster ist so angelegt, dass man mit einem Tischbein auch zwei oder vier Platten form-schlüssig verbinden kann (Thonet-Patent).

Stufe 3: VisualisierungRenderings bieten eine Visualisierung des möblierten Raums und dienen als zusätzliche Entscheidungshilfen für Formen, Materialien und Ausführungen. Damit lassen sich unterschiedliche Varianten einfach darstellen. Das Ziel ist die Realisierung der Lösung, die exakt der Aufgabenstellung des Kunden entspricht. Stufe 4: Spezialisten-Team Spezialisten wie Medientechniker, Akustiker oder Statiker werden in das Projekt-Team eingebunden. Mit ihrem Wissen, Können und ih-rer Erfahrung tragen sie entscheidend zum optimalen Ergebnis bei. Sie kooperieren eng mit der Fertigung im Werk und dem Kunden vor Ort.

Stufe 5: Installation Zur Qualitätssicherung werden komplexe Tischanlagen zunächst bei uns im Werk aufgebaut und kontrolliert. Nach Freigabe erfolgt der sachgemäße Transport zum Kunden. Nach Vereinbarung werden Thonet-eigene Mitarbeiter vor Ort mit dem Aufbau und der Installa-tion betraut. Stufe 6: ServiceUnsere Kunden profitieren auch nach der Installation von unserem Know-How. Einweisung in Technik, Umfang und Pflege sind selbst-verständlich Teil des Projekts. Für alle Fragen steht das Thonet Team dem Kunden weiterhin als Partner zur Verfügung.

Phase 1: AnalysisAn analysis of the specific requirements forms the basis of every project. Every aspect is clearly defined in order to assure a customer oriented solution of the highest quality in the end. An essential crite-rion is the corporate culture and how it should be presented. Other considerations are, for example, how many people need to be ac-commodated, a stationary or flexible solution, integrated or separate technology, and many more. Phase 2: PlanningBased on the defined data we produce an initial proposal in two and three dimensions. Together with the architect, designer, and facility manager and, of course, the customer, this proposal is intensively discussed, and the materials and the technology to be included are determined. Phase 3: VisualizationRenderings provide a clear visualization of the furnished rooms and serve as an additional aid in selecting such things as shapes, materials and versions. With this information we can produce several different variations. The goal is to develop a solution that perfectly matches the expectations of the customer. Phase 4: Specialist Team Specialists such as media engineers, acousticians and structural designers are integrated in the project team. With their knowledge, competence and experience, and by cooperating closely with the fabrication shop and the customer on site, they accompany the project to assure an optimum outcome.

Phase 5: Installation For quality assurance purposes complex table components are first set up in our factory, with every step closely monitored. After receiv-ing approval from quality assurance the products are shipped to the customer. If agreed, Thonet’s own personnel is entrusted with the assembly and installation on site. Phase 6: ServiceAfter the installation of a project is complete our customers will continue to benefit from our know-how. Training in the use of the installed technology as well as care and cleaning of the furniture is a self understood element of each project. The Thonet Team is always available to answer any questions our customers might have.

Great demands are placed on chairs used in public spaces: they must be comfortable, stackable, easily and securely linked together, robust and easy to clean and care for; and their aesthetics must be reserved and clear so that they are suitable for use in a wide range of environments. Our programme S 360, S 170, S 160 and the new S 180 were especially developed for this purpose. We have been using our well proven tool-free linkage system, a Thonet patent, for over 10 years. This technology has made assembly and disassembly

so easy that the time, and therefore the cost, is significantly reduced. For row seating the chairs with arm-rests are simply linked without tools and in a space-saving way (as in program S 360). Für unsere Möbel setzen wir ausschließlich hochwertige Materialien ein: Hölzer und Furniere aus nachhaltiger Forstwirtschaft (FSC und PFSC) wie Buche, Eiche, Nussbaum und Black Cherry. Sie werden von unseren Spezialisten selektiert. Die Oberflächen behandeln wir schonend mit einem speziellen Öl, mit Beize oder Wasserlack. Damit erhalten wir die typische Holzstruktur und das harmonische Furnier-bild.

We exclusively use high quality materials in the construction of our furniture. The wood and veneer we use comes from sustainable forestry (FSC und PFSC) and include birch, oak, walnut and black cherry. All of the wood is carefully selected by our specialists. The wood surfaces are treated with a special oil finish, with wood stain or with water based varnish. Hence, the natural structure and harmony of the wood grain is revealed.
