Last weekend, Trinity voted to call
Seminarian Elizabeth Frey as
associate pastor. Seminarian Frey
will be ordained at the Lower
Susquehanna Synod Assembly at
Messiah College on June 1. Trinity’s
Chancel Choir has been asked to
provide music for the 7:00 pm
ordination service. All are welcome
to attend! She will begin her
ministry at Trinity on June 24.
A big thank you to the Associate Pastor Call Committee: Ryan
Argot, Debbie Balasundram, Bruce Bigelow, Sarah Hancock,
Kathy Holmes, Joe Hunter, Shannon Jones, Jake Miller (chair),
Margaret Parker, and Karen Yeager!
Work on the parking lot will begin Monday, May 21. Please
be alert for potential disruptions and new traffic patterns.
Strategic Plan Update. The plan for the new three-year
cycle (2018-2020) builds on our previous plan to build
relationships, make connections, and build foundations, all
in concert with our mission to worship, connect, and serve.
It also focuses on our current appeal, Honor Our Past, Plan
Our Future, and on projects that go beyond capital
improvements: expanding small group ministries,
strengthening our relationship with Trinity’s preschool,
approaching inactive members, enhancing community
outreach, and missions. Read the plan on our website or
ask at the church office. Familiarize yourself so that you can
be a key branch growing on our faith-tree vine.

Thank you event
for Nancy Martin
on her retirement
Sunday, June 3, at 12:15
Celebrate and honor Nancy Martin
for her 28 years of service as Office
Manager/Director of Administration.
It’s also her birthday!
▪ Enjoy a light lunch of finger food, hear some speakers,
hug Nancy.
▪ Volunteer! Will you bring food? Will you help set up or
clean up? If so, sign up at the reception desk in the
Gathering Space.
▪ Add to a box of memories that we are collecting for
her to take home and cherish. A letter of thanks,
maybe, for her outstanding service? A special time
you’ve shared with her in one of the uncountable
activities she’s been part of? A photograph? Write
down your memories: Put them in the collection box
in the church office or mail them. Or add them to the
special box we’ll have at the luncheon.
▪ Help us compile a slideshow. Do you have photos of
Nancy at any time during her 28 years, or before?
Send to [email protected] by May 31.
▪ Make a financial gift. You’ll find “staff gift” envelopes
at the Gathering Space desk. Or send to the office—
just be sure to say it’s for Nancy and include your
name/envelope number.
Most important of all, come and celebrate!
Questions? See Barbara Kriebel
or email her at [email protected].
