WALKING at CALVARY

If you enjoy walking for exercise or stress relief, you are welcome to come to the church and walk mornings from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Bring a friend! Make walking your New Year’s Resolution.

GOSPEL HOUR NEXT Sunday, February 5

@ 4:00pm

Tony Jarman is quickly being recognized as one of today's top Gospel singers. He has deep roots in gospel music. His father and brother were members of the popular Dixie Melody Boys. Tony learned to sing at an early age and credits his father for his inspiration to sing.

Tony sang with his family throughout his teenage years and began singing professionally with the Anchormen after graduating from high school.

Tony has also spent time singing in quartets with the following groups: Poet Voices, Legacy Five, The Old Time Gospel Hour Quartet and most recently with the Down East Boys.

Tony is a dynamic, anointed singer whose love for the Lord radiates from his heart every time he lifts his voice to sing for Jesus.

LAST CALL

In order to be GOOD STEWARDS of the church property as well as the church's resources here are a few suggestions on how to cut the cost of main-taining the church in an economical way:

1. Turn off the lights when you leave the building. Check the bathrooms to see if the lights are off there. If there are toilets running, please let the Property Management Team know. (Don't try to chase them yourselves.)

2. Make sure all appliances are turned off in the kitchen as well as the rest of the building.

3. If you are the last one out of the building, please lock the door. If you are in the gym, make sure the security system is engaged and the back doors are locked.

NEED HELP WITH CHILDCARE: If you would like to help with childcare in the Nursery or Toddler room during the Sunday School time or during worship, please write on your worship slip this Sunday.

Loss is more than just losing a loved one to death, it can be a loss of a job, pet, divorce, health, housing, etc. We all know someone who has suffered loss. The one thing that I have learned by dealing with loss in my life is that it is easier to cope when you have others around you who care. A support group will be formed at Calvary so we can share our struggles and successes. We will meet at CBC the first Thursday of each month at 6 pm in the library and have an outing the third Thursday at Culvers also at 6 pm. To kick this group off, we will have a gathering at Culvers on Thursday, 1/26, at 6 pm. Hope to see you there... Thanks, Bev Bubner & the Shepherding Team

PREGNANCY RESOURCE CENTER TOUR and PRAYER: The PRC tour has been rescheduled for Wednesday, February 22nd at 6:15 pm. The PRC is located at 115 W. Mulberry St.

CALVARY EMAIL: If you’d like to receive the weekly CALVARY EMAIL which includes Calvary news, updates, prayer needs, etc. please put your name and email address on your worship slip with “Calvary Email”.

SEVERE WEATHER POLICY: During times of severe weather, if classes are cancelled at Kokomo Center Schools all activities at Calvary will be cancelled as well. For Saturday and Sunday events, please listen to WWKI or check the WWKI website for cancellations. Stay safe!
