Third and Traction is located in the epicenter of the Arts District, which has experienced significant growth in its residential, retail and restaurant markets. Tenants such as Wurstkuche, Umami Burger, Poketo and Alchemy Works give this area a mix of retail and restaurants not found in other shopping districts throughout Los Angeles.
originally served as the center of agricultural and manufacturing in Los Angeles with an abundance of warehouses left vacant and abandoned following World War II. Artists saw an opportunity to colonize the area converting many of the empty industrial buildings into studios, thus revitalizing the neighborhood.
