My hometown, THESSALONIKI

We live in Thessaloniki, we love this town and we invite you to come and see the beauties.

• My hometown is a modern town with history, culture and beauty.

• The population is about 800.000 persons and Thessaloniki is the second biggest city in Greece

after Athens.

• There is airport, port and railway station.

• The university is the second biggest university in Greece.

• Here is Aristotele’s square, the most famous square in Thessaloniki.

• Here takes place the international film festival ,political speeches and concerts.

• The seaside is the place

where people walk , children play

and ride bicycle.

• We don’t forget the past. Thessaloniki has a lot of ancient monuments like this arc of Gallerius.
