How to save time when travelling?
When flying:
Never, ever, check a bag
Train:
Travel as light as possible
Let's start with MY toiletry bag and its 30 items
I recycled a woman swimming trunk bag
Here is the detail
First, the usual suspects
Let's start with Shaving
A razor (ok obvious)
A shaving oil from Clarins. It costs a forture but it is fantastic.
After-shave
2 Nivea cream small samples I refill now and then
1 spare sample just in case
Teeth
Foldable Toothbrush from Boots, Uk
Toothpaste from my kids (less space and same thing)
Floss and toothpicks
Dodorant & perfumes: 4 samples = 8-10 days
Q-tips & plastic toothpicks
For my hands: a sanitizer and a moisterizing cream (for long flights, it is a must)
To sleep: Eye-mask and Ohropax
Hair gel & nail thing (no idea how it is called)
Medecine
4 Aspirine
4 Meta-spirine
4 Advil
2 Rhinadvil
1 paracetamol
Codein
These were the usual suspects.
Now on to the weird stuff.
Sewing kit (hotels carry them but you never know)
For the hair that come out of my nose, which I hate, I have this thing from Zwilling, Germany
Cuff links backup & mirror
2 things are missing from the pictures
Few bandaid when my shaving goes wild
Cholestrol-medics (family thing)
This bag is always ready to go
After each trip, I recharge my
Niva samples,
Hair gel,
Medic: if I took aspirin for instance,
My perfume samples. Here is how I do: Go to a shop and say you can not decide between 2 perfumes. Ask for samples. They usually give them.
Every time I go to a foreign country I go to a chemist or supermarket to see if they carry things I have not seen in France. Bought stuff this way. I know I am obsessed.
