The Weekly
Church Family…
I hope you’re having a great week. The next few weeks at Trinity Baptist will be
busy ones. In all the rush of spring and “Spring Break” …I hope you’ll make it a priority to
be in church. Here’s some of what’s happening within our church family over the next few
weeks:
…..This week, March 7-10, is our annual Adult Retreat in Pigeon Forge. We have right at
fifty people who will gather in the Smokies for a few days of Bible Study and fellowship.
…..Beginning Sunday March 17th and running through Wednesday the 20th we will have our
Spring Revival with Mike Dawson, Marty Raybon, and Roc Collins. DeWayne Fowler and
Doug Seaver will be our worship leaders. We will worship at 10:30 and 6 on Sunday.
…..6:30 Mon. thru Wed.
…..On Sunday morning March 24th we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper together. As we
look forward to the week before Easter we will take this special time to reflect on Jesus’
death, burial, and resurrection.
…..The week of March 25-30 we are asking you to be a part of “Praying Across Trinity.”
This is also the week of Spring Break for Morgan County Schools…but hopefully you can find
time that week to pray for your street, your subdivision, and your community. You’ll be
hearing more about this.
…..And on March 31st is our Easter Celebration beginning at 10:30. I hope you’ll be here as
the choir and others will be putting in a lot of time to make this a day to remember.
Wow. It’s gonna be a busy few days. I hope you’ll be a part of all these
opportunities. And I hope you have a great week.
See you Wednesday! MM

Thank you
We started out our morning worship service in a wonderful way by singing Glory To His Name and followed it up
with Holy Is The Lord . . . the whole earth is filled with His glory! Last week, we introduced a new presentation to
an old hymn, In Christ Alone. Our church caught on quickly and did a great job of filling up the sanctuary with the
powerful words that declare On Christ The Solid Rock We Stand! Debi Hill and the choir did a super job singing
Church Medley. Wohoooo- it’s hard for me to not run across the platform when we sing Glory, Hallelujah to the
Risen King. I like it!!! There was a wonderful presence of the Lord that filled the House as we sang Your
presence, Your Glory, You’re welcome here so we Glorify Your Name. And what a tremendous sound of worship
that could be heard and felt as we sang Glorify Thy Name. It was GOOD!!!
Sunday night was a wonderful time together as we sang a few wonderful hymns. Then, Suzanne Prince sang
Precious Lord, Take My Hand. It was awesome – she always does a super job!
Worship can be a noun or a verb. When we talk about worship, it’s a subject but as soon as the first note of the
first song hits, WORSHIP becomes a verb, it’s full of action, something in which we get to participate. Come on
and get involved in what God is doing in our worship services and music ministry. We’d love to have you.
Be blessed! DeWayne

March is here and our children have so many great experiences to look forward too!
First our church revival is right around the corner on March 17th -20th. Children grades 1st through 6th will join us in the
sanctuary for this time of worship. What an amazing opportunity for our TBC Kids to see adult’s eager to worship and
study the word of God each night. My prayer for our children is that they witness their parents, grandparents, and
leaders loving the opportunity of being in God’s house and souls being saved!!!!
We will have childcare for Nursery through Kindergarten during our revival. If you would like to help one night in the
preschool please contact me or Cindy. We will have special snacks and music each night for our little ones.
Spring Break is March 25th -29th!!!! On Wednesday March 27th at 6:00pm in the Fellowship Hall, kids 1st through 6th will
play games, including racing to see which team can make a super sundae the fastest! Parents mark your calendar to
include this fun night in your child’s Spring Break activities! Preschoolers will also enjoy ice cream that night!
Easter Celebration is Saturday March 30th at 11:00am! Kids need to bring their basket and 6 candy filled eggs! We will
have blow-ups, pizza, fill Easter baskets for the Children’s Home and hunt eggs. We do all this in celebration that Jesus is
alive and because He is alive we have eternal life!
Parents, this Sunday your children will be learning that they can praise God for creating them in his image! See everyone
