Editor’s Letter

Welcome to Telecom Exchange 2012, the preeminent industry networking event designed to generate qualified business opportunities between and among networks on the East Coast. The event is also the first of its kind to showcase all the key carrier hotels, meet-me rooms and data centers in the area, to help further navigate the network operators through the many available connectivity options. Together with more than 80 sponsors, including gold sponsor Allied Fiber, silver sponsor Colo Atl and bronze sponsors RCN and Sidera Networks, as well as more than 104 exhibiting companies and hundreds of attendees, we have created a neutral playing field, an “anti-trade show” environment, where all networks and colocation and data center houses have equal opportunity to showcase their services and conduct business.

This is an event created for the communications industry decision makers by the communications industry decision makers. After years of watching telecom deals halt to a standstill from a lack of provisioning, inaccurate troubleshooting, or just not knowing the key point person within a given company to get the job done, Jaymie Scotto & Associates (JSA) is hosting the Telecom Exchange as a way to get the right people behind the networks to meet, share products and services and close deals. All networks represented on the exhibit floor here today have or require connectivity in the area—and offer the potential to be one interconnection away from doing business with you.

In this Telecom Exchange Directory, you will find a list of the exhibitors who are ready for your business. Many exhibiting companies have supplied their latest product and service offerings, a promotion specifically designed for the event, their local PoP listings (color-coded for your ease), and their contact details. If you are interested in any of these offerings, please find the exhibitor’s location on the floor layout (centerfold) and network now.

New for 2012: we have added the Technology Showcase to the center of our exhibit floor, to view, test and compare the latest equipment innovations. Also we are hosting JSA TV video interviews with key executives on the balcony. And due to the success of last year’s CEO Roundtable, we have added another CEO Roundtable to our agenda. Starting at 1:30, the industry’s top C-levels will discuss financial networks’ need for speed and then at 2:30, another panel of industry A-listers will discuss the necessary core infrastructure for tomorrow’s cloud services.

In addition to the CEO Roundtables, there are only two other reasons to step away from the active exhibit floor: a 15-minute, exclusive one-one one meeting with a telecom leader in our DealCenter area located on the balcony;

or a visit to the Press Room at 11:30 to hear the Telecom Exchange community members announce their breaking news to industry journalists.

At 3:30, please join us on the balcony as we kick-off the Telecom Exchange After-Party, sponsored by Hibernia Atlantic and Inteliquent. The leaders of these companies will be on-hand to offer a toast and provide additional information, if requested, on their innovative services, while we enjoy music and refreshments.

Enjoy Telecom Exchange; may it be as amazing for you as it has been for us at JSA to plan. Thank you again for your continued support. If you have any suggestions on how we can further enhance Telecom Exchange 2013, slated as a multi-day event, June 24-26, 2013, please email us at [email protected]. We are, as always, honored to be able to promote you.

Sincerely,

Jaymie Scotto CutaiaCEO and Founder of JSAEditor, Telecom Exchange Directory
