Welcome to the inaugural Telecom Exchange; this unique

networking event is specifically designed to generate qualified

business opportunities between and among networks that have

access in and around the New York tri-state area. The event is also

the first of its kind to showcase all the key carrier hotels, meet-me-

rooms and data centers in the metro area, to help further navigate

the network operators through the many connectivity options in and

around the city. Together with more than 66 sponsors, including

gold sponsor Allied Fiber, silver sponsors GlobeNet and Optimum

Lightpath and bronze sponsors Ciena and XKL,

as well as more than 96 exhibiting companies

and hundreds of attendees, we have created

a neutral playing field, an “anti-trade show”

environment, where all networks and

colocation and data center houses have equal

opportunity to showcase their services and conduct business.

This is an event created for the communications industry decision

makers by the communications industry decision makers. After

years of watching telecom deals halt to a standstill from a lack of

provisioning, inaccurate troubleshooting, or just not knowing the key

point person within a given company to get the job done, Jaymie

Scotto & Associates (JS&A) is hosting the Telecom Exchange as a way

to get the right people behind the networks to meet, share products

and services and close deals. All networks represented on the exhibit

floor here today have or require connectivity in the NY metro area—

and offer the potential to be one interconnection away from doing

business with you.

Whether you are a large international carrier or a local provider, the

Telecom Exchange is a way for you to gain direct access to a variety

of wholesale products and services, avoid middle men, and directly

negotiate on this neutral playing field. The marketing madness

of traditional telecom trade shows is left at the door. Instead, the

Telecom Exchange is all about getting business done. All exhibitors’

table spaces are uniform with similar size, placement and signage.

What is different and noteworthy is what each company has to offer.

In this Telecom Exchange Directory, you will find a list of the Exhibitors

who are ready for your business. Many exhibitors have supplied their

latest product and service offerings, a promotion specifically designed

for the event, their local PoP listings (color-coded for your ease),

and their website and contact details. If you are interested in any of

these offerings, please find the exhibitor’s location on the floor layout

(centerfold) and network now.

There are only three reasons to step away from the active exhibit

floor: a 15-minute, exclusive one-one-

one meeting with a telecom leader in our

DealCenter area located on the balcony; a

visit to the Press Room from 12:30 to 1:30

to hear the Telecom Exchange community

members announce their breaking news to

industry journalists; or a visit to the CEO Roundtable from 2:30 to 3:30

to hear top industry CEOs share their thoughts and insight of trends

and opportunities in 2011 and beyond.

Starting at 3:30, please join us on the Exhibit floor as we kick-off the

Telecom Exchange After-Party, sponsored by Hibernia Atlantic, Neutral

Tandem and Tinet. These valued carriers and JS&A customers will

share the latest advances on Hibernia’s Project Express, the lowest

latency, transatlantic cable build between New York and London

and Neutral Tandem and Tinet’s EtherCloudSM, a Layer 2 platform

connecting diverse partner networks into a seamless Ethernet cloud

that delivers end-to-end connectivity around the world. The leaders of

these companies will be on-hand to offer a toast and provide additional

information, if requested, on their innovative services.

Enjoy our first Telecom Exchange; may it

be as amazing for you as it has been for

us at JS&A to plan. Thank you again for

your continued support. We are, as always,

honored to be able to promote you.

Sincerely,

Jaymie Scotto CutaiaCEO of JS&AEditor, Telecom Exchange Directory
