President’s Report

BY GLENN RODRICK

Thank you to all the volunteers that turned out for the work

party. The place looks great, with a new fence in back having

been built and 9 cords of wood got split and stacked.

Due to our septic system being outdated, we had a new one

installed, hopefully eliminating future issues.

The Peil Range is coming along very well. The building looks

great so if you haven’t had a chance to check it out, stop on

down.

Don’t forget to get the kids signed for the NRA Youth

SportsFest on June 1st. This is a great introduction to safety and it

is free as well.

There is a change of date for the 3D Iron Amos Archery Shoot.

It will take place June 15th & 16th.

The 70th Annual Kid’s Fishing Derby took place May 18th.

A big thank you to the new Chairman, Jared Wegner and all the

TSC volunteers. They work hard to make this a great event for

everyone. We also wish to thank all the companies that

donated: Mountain Mist, Tim’s Cascade Chips, Blue Max,

Sportsmen’s Warehouse, and McDonald’s on 149th & Pacific.

Please support these businesses, as they have donated for many

years in support of our Derby.

To the Tacoma Sportsmen’s Club Shotgun Committee,

I just wanted to say THANK YOU SO MUCH!! We all had such a great time!!

Your staff was friendly, helpful and funny! And didn’t make us new-timers

feel awkward at all – even gave us pointers! Your food was delicious also – we’re

still talking about the tots this morning!

This really was a fantastic Team Building event and we will be back in the near future!!
