We bid you a very warm welcome to our worship. As we gather in this sacred

space, silent prayer and reflection helps us to prepare for the service. We

acknowledge our presence is on the unceded territory of the Musqueam,

Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. Listening devices are available for the

1 Crown him with many crowns,

the Lamb upon his throne:

own nation and the chief priests have handed you over to

me. What have you done?’ Jesus answered, ‘My kingdom is

not from this world. If my kingdom were from this world,

my followers would be fighting to keep me from being

handed over to the Jews. But as it is, my kingdom is not

from here.’ Pilate asked him, ‘So you are a king?’ Jesus

answered, ‘You say that I am a king. For this I was born,

and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth.

Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to my voice.’

Silence for reflection

Please rise as you are able

Priest Let us confess the faith of our baptism, as we say,

All I believe in God,

the Father almighty,

creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord.

He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit

and born of the Virgin Mary.

He suffered under Pontius Pilate,

was crucified, died, and was buried.

He descended to the dead.

On the third day he rose again.

He ascended into heaven,

and is seated at the right hand of the Father.

He will come again

to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,

the holy catholic Church,

the communion of saints,

the forgiveness of sins,

the resurrection of the body,

and the life everlasting. Amen.

Confession and Absolution

Priest Dear friends in Christ,

God is steadfast in love and infinite in mercy;

God welcomes sinners

and invites us to this table.

Let us confess our sins,

confident in God’s forgiveness.

Priest Most merciful God,

All we confess that we have sinned against you

in thought, word, and deed,

by what we have done,

and by what we have left undone.

We have not loved you with our whole heart;

we have not loved our neighbours as ourselves.

We are truly sorry and we humbly repent.

Priest Blessed are you, gracious God,

creator of heaven and earth;

we give you thanks and praise

through Jesus Christ our Lord.

You exalted him as Lord of all creation

that he might present to you

an eternal and universal kingdom:

and make them new,

and bring us to that city of light

where you dwell with all your sons and daughters;

the firstborn of all creation,

the head of the Church,

and the author of our salvation;

Priest The gifts of God for the people of God.


We invite all baptized Christians to receive Communion at our altar. If you wish to

receive a blessing please come at the same time. Intinction is not permitted as it

contaminates the wine. It is acceptable to receive either bread or wine only.

If you are unable to make your way to the altar please ask a sidesperson to have

Communion brought to you. Gluten free wafers are available.

The sacrament of healing is available in the side chapel during

Communion.
