Passive sentences• La veu passiva s’utilitza més en anglès que en

català. És molt freqüent traduir una oració passiva en anglès per una activa en català.

• En català moltes vegades la forma passiva es tradueix per oracions impersonals.

• He is called Mick = Es diu Mick.• English is spoken in a lot of countries = es parla anglès

en molts països.

La passiva es pot utilitzar en tots els temps verbals. The mail has been delivered.
