About Nicholas
As a British Secret Intelligence Service (SIS/MI6) production intel officer he mainly served in the Sovbloc during the Cold War.
Later his specialty was in dangerous “smoking gun” situations. He has met many terrorists in person and lived to tell about it, including the IRA, Al Qaida and Islamic State.
Towards the end of his long career he was in charge of the secret undercover uncammo (no uniforms) squadron of British special forces warriors whose remit was “very specific tasks” behind enemy lines in Iraq, Somalia, Yemen and Afghanistan.
