Tuesday December 8 Café Worship with Abigail Zsiga and Tobey Drums It’s nearly the end of semester, and everyone is so busy — come to Chapel on Tuesday for café worship, and let us take the strain for half an hour. Sit down with friends to listen, sing, pray, and take in an atmosphere of gentle and friendly worship. Leading the music will be guest singers and musicians Abigail Zsiga and Tobey Drums, two stellar musicians who have visited Marquand on a number of occasions over the last two years. Abigail Zsiga's career spans many years and crosses several musical genres. She achieved years of success in the field of electronic dance music, gained much critical acclaim with her original work as a singer/songwriter, released an album of traditional hymns and most recently a beautiful EP of original music for Christmas. Wherever she sings, Abigail's captivating voice never fails to enthrall her audience. Tobey grew up in a family-owned dance studio, and after tap dancing to fill his time he transformed that rhythm into drumming. Music was in his genes, and Tobey has been in and around show biz his whole life. He has been touring the world since age 18, and over the last seven years he has played thousands of shows all over the world, has done numerous recording sessions and rocked hundreds of gospel gigs. He is currently the drummer with The Wild Ones, an energetic New York Top 40 Coverband, as well as playing regularly for worship at Grace Community Church in New Canaan.
