AT BRAFA La magia del GIOIELLO ANTICO: unico, patinato e atemporale I; spilla serpenti in smalto, smeraldi, rubini e diamanti datata 1830 e diventata l'emblema di Brafa Art Fair 2015, giunta aila 59esima edizione. Le 6 gailerie- su 131 in totale- specializzate in gioielli antichi, sono state al centro della manifestazione con pezzi rari dalla fine dell'Ottocento fino agli anni '50. Poche pietre preziose, riservate ormai aile grandi aste internazionali, rna molti gioielli stupefacenti con una particolare predilezione per i pendenti, come quello Art Nouveau del1905 by Rene Lalique. E per chi ama le perle di calcare, quelle che si formano nelle grotte insieme aile stalattiti, il collier Carlo e Arthur Giuliano portato da Epoque Fine Jewels e ispirato ailo stile etrusco, e stato la piu bella delle sorprese. c.B.
'Th e serpent brooc h in enamel, eme ralds. rubies and diamonds dates back to 1830 and has become the emblem of the Brafa Art Fair 2015. which is now in its 59th edition. The six galleries (out of 131 in total) focused on antique jewels were at the center of the show with rare pieces from the e nd of the 19th century up to the 1950s. There were very rcw precious stones, which today te nd to be re served for large international auctions, but there were many spectacular jewels with a special focus on pendants like the Art No uveau one from 1905 by Rene Lalique. And for those that love cave pearls, which are formed in caves along with stalactites, there 's the neck lace by Ca rlo and Arthur G iuliano exhibited by Epoq ue Fine Jewels an d inspired by E truscan styles. It was one of the most wonderful surprises.
