CHURCH CLEANING Thank you to the following people who cleaned church on June 2: Mary Lou Podraza, Lois Kuta, Sue Gonka, Erik Robledo, Kay

Miller, Renee Henggeler, Kim Cemper and Angela Swanson.

Crew #10 will be cleaning the church on June 17 at 7:30 a.m.

From our Pastor…

Today, we celebrate the solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity. They are a community of persons living in loving unity with each other. One person is not greater or more powerful than the other. They are only distinguished by their function: the Father creates and orders; the Son saves; and the Holy Spirit makes all holy and helps us understand the Trinity more fully. The Trinity is a model for couple relationships, family, community, nation and our world. Wouldn’t it be a wonderful world if we could all live in harmony? As Christians, we are called to be models of the Trinity for others.

God’s Blessings,

PARISH NEWS

RESPECTFUL DRESS REQUESTED Clothes reflect attitude, and attitude dictates behavior. As the weather gets warmer, please dress modestly. Summer wear, including flip flop sandals, short skirts and shorts, cropped shirts and bare shoulders are not appropriate church dress, especially when serving at Mass.

KEEPING THE FAITH ALL SUMMER LONG Here are some ways for all of us to grow our Faith this summer:

Make Mass a priority - Gathering together with the Church to receive Christ is essential to our faith. Do some spiritual reading - Set aside some special time for reflection on a spiritual topic, such as the lives of the saints. Visit a holy place - Take a day tr ip to a monastery, shr ine or famous church, and experience some of the different types of spirituality that are all part of the Catholic faith. Simplify your life - Sort through clothing, toys, sports equipment & other possessions; have a garage sale and donate the proceeds! Do something for someone else - Reach out to people in need. Summer is a time for resting, reaching out and growing - mind, body and spirit. ~Adapted from Our Sunday Visitor, May/June
