A blanket is freely and reverently offered to anyone in St. Mary’s Episcopal Church Community. A donation of $10 is accepted for those outside the community. Emmanuel Chapter Daughters of the King Each 2nd Sunday of the month, the Emmanuel Chapter of the Daughters of the King meet in the Library after the 11 am service. A light lunch is served. All women who are interested in the Order of the Daughters of the King are welcome to visit to learn more about the Order. All Daughters everywhere make the same prom-ises upon their admission to the Order: · To obey the two Rules of The Order: the Rule of Prayer and the Rule of Service. · To offer at all times loyal aid to our clergy and parish to spread Christ’s kingdom. · To wear faithfully the cross of The Order. · To work for the purposes of The Order as God may give us the opportunity. Hog Dogs for the Homeless

A huge crowd today.. it's the end of the month and they have less money. Some men asked me for blankets and bedrolls which I did not have. They are actually sleeping outside in this cold. Their needs are real. One man said he had a new baby so he was given a blanket made by the children in Sunday school. There were many more men than women today so men's clothing, shoes, jackets, hats and gloves are the biggest need in the winter. They also request blankets, pillows, backpacks and bedrolls. Thank you for your very generous donations. The Homeless are poor and grateful to receive your gifts. Carole Harrington
