I tested a bilingual child for LD and he did not qualify but his scores for Oral Expression and Listening Comprehension were in the 50s. We had an ARD and decided that you should probably work with him to see if the teacher concerns are related to low language.

We had an ARD and decided that you should probably work with him to see if the teacher concerns are related to low language. So at the ARD we signed consent for you to test him.

I just tested three bilingual kindergarteners. Two of them didn’t qualify but the teachers are still concerned. At their IEP meetings tomorrow I will sign them up for LD testing and send them your way.
