If you could have any superpower what would it be? Hmmm, originally I thought that I would love to have the ability to take other peoples powers, resulting in having the ultimate power...however, that would mean people would need powers in the first place. So I think I will go with being able to read peoples thoughts...a little bit like Edward Cullen ;)
Pirates or ninjas? Pirates. No contest, clearly because Jack Sparrow is awesome. Although Mrs Florisson bought me a ninjabread cookie cutter which is extremely cool and made biscuits even better!
What’s your favourite game? (Console, PC, board game, party game, etc.) Back in the day I was OBSESSED with Sonic the Hedgehog on the SEGA Mega Drive...Favourite board game would have to be either Pictionary or Cranium - I have been in many fits of laughter completing the “Star Performer”, moving a person like a puppet is much harder than you think! How do you like your eggs? Cooked by somebody else! No seriously, not because I’m lazy and like being waited on, it’s because I can never cook the perfect egg
If you could have any animal (real or mythical) what would it be? Real animal would be a horse...or maybe even two. Mythical would have to be one of the flying dragons from Avatar
What’s your favourite Disney princess? Ariel from The Little Mermaid, this was my all time favourite Disney movie when I was a child, I knew every word of that movie. Probably still do if I’m honest!
What is your main/favourite mode of transport? Car, although I don’t LOVE driving...it’s ok, it gets me from A to B. I would love to be able to ice skate or roller blade everywhere though...that would be interesting and probably dangerous, I’ll just stick to my car
What do you want to be when you “grow up”? Not so much what I want to be when I grow up, but if I stopped teaching I would like to work with horses, possibly as a showjumper
Converse or Vans? Neither interest me that much!
What’s your favourite fruit? Strawberries...chocolate covered ones :)
miss Fensom TEACHER IN CHARGE OF IT & Media
If you could have any superpower what would it be? Ohhh this is something I often think about – it is quite a tricky decision…it's a close call between telekinesis (moving things with your mind...awesome!) and invisibility (so that I could eavesdrop on conversations or situations without being seen)
P i r a t e s o r n i n j a s ? P i r a t e s f o r sure...mostly because Jack Sparrow has revolutionised pirates to be COOL and WACKY and ARTY
What’s your favourite game? (Console, PC, board game, party game, etc.) Balderdash (so many crying fits of laughter playing that game!) or Taboo. I'm also a fan of the classic driving games Mario Kart and ReVolt (I wonder how many people are old enough to remember playing that on a PC in the 90's!!!)
How do you like your eggs? Poached, soft yolk
If you could have any animal (real or mythical) what would it be? I love animals, so first of all I'd want like 10 dogs - 'oodles' to be precise, to be siblings for my Labradoodle Lucy. Then I'd like a Hamster and a few Alpacas. As you can tell I like fluffy, friendly animals.
What’s your favourite Disney princess? I have to say I'm not the biggest fan of Disney princesses, because I believe they generally perpetuate undesirable stereotypes of glamourous, skinny girls who don't amount to much without a man in their life. But if I had to pick one, I'd go for Merida from Brave, because she (finally!!) subverts these stereotypes and advocates true GIRL POWER!
What is your main/favourite mode of transport? Car for SURE. Not a huge fan of planes, and I'm too uncoordinated to ride cool things with wheels like skateboards…or rollerblades...I wish I could though...
What do you want to be when you “grow up”? A good Mum
Converse or Vans? Converse…? I actually don't care. At all.
What’s your favourite fruit? Pineapple…closely followed by Strawberries

What do you call a smart blonde?A golden retriever
A senior in the College took his blonde girlfriend to a football game. As the game started, he said, "Watch the guy wearing number 15. I expect him to be our best man next year.""Oh, Honey," she said. "That's such a clever way to propose. I accept!"

Now is the time for all of us to start to really knuckle down and throw ourselves into study. As horrible as that may sound I promise you it will all pay off eventually. We are not far off from the Year Twelves leaving us to sit their WACE exams, and our other Senior and Middle schoolers will be following also with their end of year exams and tests. Although I am sure that we would all be rather doing a whole host of other things, our exams are rather important. Think of it as the 800 metre race in the Olympics. You need to be able to pace yourself so you can complete the whole thing. A good start can mean the difference between first, second or last position, but it is how hard you go in the last 100 meters that really counts. This is where we are now (particularly you Year Twelves!). Burning out now is not something we want to think about put all your thoughts about tanning at the beach, music festivals or shopping sprees on hold and pick up your pens and get some ink on that page! R e m e m b e r t h a t h e l p i s n e v e r f a r a w a y . Teachers’ (funnily enough) are there to help us. The door to Study Café is always open, your parents, guardians, friends, family and maybe the pet dog are also more than willing to hold up flash cards and quiz you on what ever you need to know! Don't forget about all the study seminars around the city designed especially for us! So are you ready? Are you set? OFF YOU GO!
