Ask yourself, would you find life worth living if you had no hope?

The Facts:

• There are between three and five thousand animal shelters in

the United States, with an annual intake of five to seven million

animals.

• SPCA stands for Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. - Unfortunately however, with so many

animals needing shelter and help, some SPCA’s will euthanize animals in their care to make room for incoming animals. This process is never done

lightly nor without regret by those working within these agencies—it is, however, the current state of animal

control in this country.

Why You should adopt a shelter dog instead of buying a new

one. No one deserves to know only neglect, and abuse. In some cases, there is such a thing as a happy ending. Animals that have had to know nothing but neglect, deserve a second chance to experience life the way it should be experienced. Nothing deserves to know only pain, and long suffering.

HOPEBy adopting a sheltered animal, not only would you be proving that there is more to life, but with more people willing to adopt than to buy, more hope would be produced for these animals. Animals cops, and Shelters would have more hope for each and every animal they help, not only because they know these fellows need love, and a good home, but because they know people like you are looking for great dogs, and what better than an animal that’s suffered all their life? Be a HERO

The Big Picture

Shelter dogs are going to appreciate you more, than a new dog, simply because

all they have know is neglect. They have never experienced love, and to have a family come and save them, and offer them a new life, giving them another

chance to experience what life could truly be like. Doing such a thing is not only life changing for the animal, but for you as

well.

What your really doing

Food and water says “I’m here for you, I know what you need.”

A belly rub, a walk in the park, and pat on the head says

“I care, and I won’t hurt you.” Love and patience’s says “I’m not going anywhere; I’m not

going to give up on you. I care, and I’m here for you.”

Don’t we all need just a little bit of understanding, and reassurance?

Don’t we all deserve a second chance?

Don’t these animals deserve a better life and a new beginning. Let that new beginning start with you. Let you name be Hope.

The Answer It is truly unfair to get a new dog, when there are millions

who need you. Sometimes its difficult because people believe the animal will be too much work, but why should the

animal suffer because of what someone else did to them? Love heals all. And with time, comes trust, and doesn’t everyone want to feel loved? Its no more difficult then

being there for a loved one in their time of need. The only difference is its your actions not your words, you need to prove to them that you love them and they can trust you.

Adopt a shelter dog; it’s the right thing to do. We all deserve a second chance at life. We all deserve to be loved. By loving an animal that’s been neglected, we grow in our understanding that the little things are the

only things that matter.

prices may vary.

Society, or help spread the world about adoption as an alternate to buying a new puppy.

Some helpful tips, to prevent the number of shelter animals get your animal spayed or nurtured. - It is estimated that each spay or neuter results in .72 fewer dogs and .57 fewer cats entering the shelter
