VBS 2020 CHANGES

VBS Dates

Whatever method you choose, the dates for VBS are Monday, July 27-Thursday, July 30. The final session will be in person on Sunday, August 2, 3:00-4:30pm in the Fellowship Center.

VBS At Home

Currently, we are editing and modifying this year’s Bible lesson material for individual family use and we are going to package this up into what we are calling a “VBS At-Home Kit.” We hope to have these kits created in the next couple weeks, and we will announce an official pick-up date for the kits soon. We encourage families who go this route to invite other family members and close friends to join you and do VBS together in a small group of people.

Neighborhood VBS

If you want to be part of reaching families in the Dothan area outside of the walls of our church, then sign up to be apart of “Neighborhood VBS.” This is a fun, effective outreach to children and their families in our own neighborhoods!

Go to calvarydothan.com and click on “VBS Information” to register to host a neighborhood site by July 15.

New Community Ministry Outreach OpportunityStuff the Bus for Kids! School Supplies Needed!

Help us “Stuff the Bus” with school supplies for area kids and teachers in need. All donations received will be distributed to all Dothan City Schools. Bring school supplies to Wiregrass Commons Mall Management Office, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm now thruogh July 26 or on Saturday, July 18, to the Center Court, 11:00am-2:00pm.

Membership MattersMembership Matters is divided into two consecutive (and mandatory) sessions. This means attendees of the second session will only be those that attended the first session. The next Membership Matters classes are scheduled for Sunday mornings, August 16 and 23, at 8:30 am during Life Group in the Office Building Conference Room.

Midweek Worship ScheduleThere will be no Midweek worship in July. Midweek worship will resume on campus on August 5 along with Family Night Supper. Adult Choir will not meet.
