Prayer of Invocation/Confession Dear Lord, You have called us here and

in faith we have gathered. Lead us into

those deep and mysterious places where

only faith in You will let us go. Meet us

here and make this time holy. God of

Grace, we offer to You our worship. O

Holy God, through worship, give us

faith enough to move the mountains of

despair that have separated us from You

and from one another. Fill the emptiness

we bring to worship today. Fill us with

a fresh anointing. We need Your rescuing

love today. May everything we do and

say inspire us to do Your will. In the

Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Amen.

Let us come and worship with our hearts

and our souls. Let us seek to be

empowered by the Holy Spirit. Let us

throw off everything that hinders our

praise. In the Name of Christ. Amen!

OFFERTORY PRAYER Heavenly Father, give deeper meaning to

our giving and give wider use to our gifts.

Through the unlimited and loving power

of the Holy Spirit, do more than we ever

imagined. We gladly give our tithes,

mission gifts and sacrificial offerings,

today, and may they glorify Your name. If

we are reluctant stewards, please increase

our faith and our love. We desire to enter

into the joy of our Lord. Thank You for

giving us life and more life in Your love

and grace. Amen.

Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory

and honor and power; for thou hast

created all things, and for thy pleasure

they are and were created. Revelation 4:11

Dr. Natalie A. Francisco has served as co-pastor of Calvary

Community Church and co-founder of Calvary Christian Academy

in Hampton, VA alongside her husband, Bishop L. W. Francisco III.

She has also served extensively in full-time ministry for over 26

years in areas of leadership in both the Music and Arts and

Christian Education departments of her local church. The

culmination of her years of experience in relating to women and

children of all ages have been instrumental in affording her the

opportunity to author four books: Wisdom for Women of Worth &

Worship: Lessons for a Life of Virtue, Value & Victory; Parenting

and Partnering with Purpose: Linking Homes, Schools and Churches to Educate Our

Children; A Woman's Journal for Joyful Living: Successful Steps to Holistic Health; and I'm

Just Saying! Devotional Inspiration and Insight for Men and Women (all published by St.

Paul Press).

As founder and executive director of the Women of Worth Conference and the Women of

Worth and Worship Institute (WOWWI), Dr. Francisco seeks to provide godly and practical

instruction to women who desire to learn and implement biblical truths and principles from

her life's lessons. As a personal mentor and a consultant, she strives to equip others to excel

in the areas of ministry, daily living and education. This is accomplished via her books,

conferences, seminars, weekly women's noonday bible studies, retreats and several eight-

week sessions held throughout the year on location as requested as well as online for

registered participants across the country and around the world.

With over 15 years of television experience alongside her husband, Bishop L. W. Francisco

III, Dr. Francisco also is a contributor to the Shaping Families radio broadcast sponsored by

Third Way Media, She offers pastoral insight and biblical solutions while addressing

difficult, real life issues that families often face. The broadcast is aired weekly on several

radio stations nationwide and can also be heard online. Additionally, Dr. Francisco serves as

director on various community and financial services boards, and as an advisory board

member of Wisdom Women Worldwide founded by Dr. Suzan Johnson Cook who now serves

as United States Ambassador for International Religious Freedom.

Although Dr. Francisco has served as a motivational speaker, teacher, worship leader and

author, her greatest joys are found in serving God, spending time with her family and friends,

and practicing self-care.

Guest Preacher –Dr. Natalie Francisco

Precious Women of God, Look What The Holy Spirit Has Done!

I am grateful for the season we find ourselves in. The Holy Spirit of God is

moving in a mighty way. I have watched you open up your heart for more of

God. Through the Word of God, Your faith has been activated like never before.

Look What The Holy Spirit Has Done! There is no challenge that the Lord has

not empowered us to get through holding on to our faith. Our God Reigns and

the Holy Spirit is preparing us for the "rain." Our lights will shine brighter

because of the cleansing and healing that is taking place in the life of this church.

I thank God for His Promises that never fail. I thank God for the Spirit of unity

among the sisterhood. Look What The Holy Spirit Has Done.

Let us open up our hearts to receive the newness of life that keeps coming to

every believer: men, women, boys and girls. God desires to fill us up with the

precious Holy Spirit again and again. God wants our days and nights filled with

power. But we must spend time with God and talk to God. So, let us humble

ourselves, repent, seek God's face and empty ourselves; if we really want the

Spirit's filling.

I am so thankful for the precious woman of God who is with us in body, mind

and spirit today. Dr. Natalie is an awesome instrument in the hands of our

mighty, mighty God. She is an encourager, a worshipper and a prayer warrior.

Dr. Natalie is my friend. Look What the Holy Spirit Has Done! Let us feast at

her table!

Joy to you all,

Pastor J

“Grief Tool Box”

September 2014

This month’s focus is on the many children who love and therefore grieve. If you know someone or may have children who could use the book, The Fall of Freddie the Leaf by Leo

Buscaglia, Ph. D., can be read to help children cope with death and loss. This is a story of life for all ages as well. Order it on Amazon.com or visit a nearby bookstore.

Scripture

“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.”

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 KJV

Prayer

Dear Lord, I thank you for the comfort you give in my loss. Help me to share the precious comfort you give to me with others. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

LET’S SUPPORT OUR PASTOR!

PASTOR JOHNSON IS PROUD TO INVITE THE FEMALE POPULATION OF NP TO JOIN HER FOR GIRLTREK 9-DAY PRAYER TREK 2014!

Mark your calendar! On October 1st, we start walking – 30 minutes per day, for 9 days straight. October 1-10, 2014, we’ll be combining two very essential components: Prayer and Exercise! GirlTrek is a national health nonprofit organization that has inspired 25,000 Black women to walk for better health! This year the Prayer Trek will focus on the Fruit of the Spirit. We will join with thousands across the country as we will be walking and praying to fight against unhealthy habits.
