CALL TO WORSHIP
Show us Your ways, O Lord, teach us Your paths; Guide us in Your truth and teach us, for You are God!
Prayer of Invocation/Confession
Holy and Merciful God, we
worship You with much
thanksgiving on this day. We
love You with all that we are
and all that we have. We pray
that You would remind us that
we are joined with You through
the gift of Jesus. We are
connected to You through the
abiding presence of the Holy
Spirit. From this relationship,
we find power, strength and the
grace to do Your holy will.
Create in us new and loving
hearts, that all we say and do
may be pleasing in Your sight.
Consecrate us, anew, for the
fulfillment of Your purposes. In
the name of Jesus, the true vine,
who brings life to those who
abide in Him, we pray. Amen.
WEDDING ANNIVERSARIES
We will acknowledge wedding
anniversaries on the First Sunday of
each month. Both the husband and
the wife must be members of New
Prospect. Please call the church

Offertory Prayer
O Lord, our God, we expect so much from You, and we are not
disappointed. May we respond in our stewardship, as You have taught us
how to give, and then be a blessing to others. Bless our tithes, sacrificial
gifts and mission offerings that we give today. May both the gift and giver
be used for Your glory. Multiply what we bring in ways that declare Your
glory! We desire to live faithfully and bear much fruit. Amen.
“Therefore, my beloved, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the
work of the Lord, because you know that in the Lord your labor is not in
vain.” 1 Corinthians 15:58

FROM THE DESK OF REV. CARNEL RICHARDSON
Beloved Women of God,
God has given you a marvelous gift. He has given you
the gift of life. Each woman’s life has significant
value and worth. Our awesome creator has affirmed
time and time again that you were made in His image
and that you “mean the world” to Him. Therefore, as
New Prospect celebrates the worth of women during
the month of September you must rejoice, worship, give
thanks, expect, and embrace your worth and the worth
of your sisters in Christ.
In the Name of Jesus,
Rev. Carnel H.L. Richardson
Lead Pastoral Minister
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, and THANK YOU!!!
Dear New Prospect Church Family:
Words cannot adequately express the gratitude that resides in our hearts for
your loving encouragement and support of the New Prospect Youth Ministry’s
endeavors. Our spiritual pilgrimage to the Youth For Christ Weekend in White
Cloud, Michigan was amazing, refreshing, inspiring, and fulfilling. The
millennial generation would sum up the experience by saying, “It was
EVERYTHING.” Your contributions allow us to continually experience the
spiritual and social growth that our Lord wants us to experience. So, we thank
you again and again from the bottom of our hearts. Please keep praying for us
as the Lord continues to strengthen us and use us for His glory!
