Please call the Central Office if you would like be added or taken off the prayer list, if you are homebound and would like to receive the Eucharist or if you are going into the hospital.

Remember in prayer all who are in need of the Lord’s Healing and Strength especially:

New Evangelization Corner Dear Friends, In today’s readings for the Solemnity of the Ascension, we have been given the important charge to spread the Gospel to the ends of the earth!

For the Christian, the Gospel message is the most important message there is! Here is a helpful acronym to help us remember the Gospel message.

G - God has created us in His image and to be in relationship with Him now and forever. O - Our sins have separated us from God, and we find ourselves in a great spiritual battle with Satan. S - Sins cannot be removed through our own efforts. P - Paying the price for our sins, Jesus was crucified, died, rose from the dead, and ascended into heaven to prepare a place for us by means of our baptism. E - Everyone who places their faith in Jesus and abides in the communion of the Catholic Church he established shall have abundant life here and eternal life in heaven. L - Life that is eternal is the fulfillment of all our desires in heaven forever with God, His angels, and His saints.

The commission Jesus gives us to preach the Gospel goes beyond human resources. We need the POWER of the Holy Spirit. Brothers and Sisters, are you aware that through sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist, you, too, have been clothed with Power from on High to evangelize? Are you aware that you play an irreplaceable role to the growth of the Church? Your role isn’t just important, it’s irreplaceable. We need your gifts for the building of the kingdom! Remember, there is no unemployment in the Kingdom of God.

As we prepare for Pentecost, let’s ask the Lord how He is calling us be His witnesses. Let’s pray for a deeper outpouring of the Holy Spirit to empower us to live out the unique mission we each have been given.

St. Stanislaus Graduates 2019

Go and teach all nations, says the Lord;

I am with you always, until the end of the world.

How long does it take change to be adopted by all? Which group are you in? Innovators– 6 months You are part of the 2.5% who are eager and ready to try out new ideas. Early Adopters-10 months This group is 13.5% of the parish and they are the “public relations” members. Other members will ask them, “What do you think of this new concept?” Early Majority-14 months If you are in this group you are “not the last to lay the old aside, nor the first by which the new is tried.” 34% wait until they are sure the idea will succeed. Late Majority-26 months You are a part of the ‘skeptics.” 34% will not adopt a new concept until most others have done so. They may appeal to hierarchy to step in and stop a new “unapproved proposal. The Laggards-56 months This is the traditional 16% who are last to adopt change. They tend to seek others who agree and are usually suspicious of innovators. Most Important fact Each of these groups accept change when they are able to observe its benefits in the lives of others first and afterwards see how it will also be a benefit to their own.

Once again, videos and pamphlets have been placed on the cars in All Saints-St. Mary’s parking lot. This is illegal and we are close to filing a lawsuit. This is the last warning.
