Explanation of Resume and CV Resume: A document used to seek employment that complies your education, credentials, work experience, and professional accomplishments. Types of Resumes:

• Chronological: Presents a history of work and education accomplishments in reverse chronological order (most recent first). This type of resume is best suited for individuals with a lengthy work history.

• Functional: Describes, in general terms, the functional skills you have developed. It highlights your talents rather than experience.

• Combination: Lists your skills and experiences first, then

Curriculum Vitae (CV): Is a document that provides an overall view of the persons’ experience, qualifications, credentials, and accomplishments, along with published articles, presentations, and professional membership/s. A CV is best suited when seeking to attend graduate school and pursuing a career in academia. Cover Letter: Introduces you and your resume to the potential employer by highlighting key attributes that you emphasize that makes you best suited for the job.
