The stage you get into when film idea is developed beyond with script, cast crew and executives.

People in the film business also believe this to be a matter of life and death, as there is a 50/50 chance of the actual making of the film idea. The producers and screenwriters need to gain the funding for the film process.

How movies get funded and distributed?

Every film is a start- up business as the success and failure is due to how well people do their work at each stage. It includes both a high risk and a high return for the participators and director. Screenwriters are the basis and centre of the creation for productive film idea. Even though it is guaranteed the screenplay would be re-written to involve changes contributed by other people to produce a more developed idea. Easier to be a screenwriter could earn up to $250 million dollars. In order to get more financing and more awareness for the film, showmanship is needed to gain the attention with well-known distributors and companies. To ensure the overall success of film. Casting- having stars in your film sell pictures and will increase the noticeability of the film. It also raises finances based on foreign sales. Distribution- before you uses to send reels of film, but now you send a file to the distributor of your choice. This has provided to be more time and money efficient. Marketing This is mostly done through social media by using a trailer, poster and Facebook pages. Insurance of Bankability- the aim of making money, to survive in the risky business.The Blacklist A list of films that is unable to be seen. Out of 970 scripts only 270 of those scripts are made. Blockage of ideasBritish Industry- According to Matthew Vaughn there isnt a British industry as it subsidies Hollywood. Films such as Harry Potter and Star Wars were huge successes, made in Britain, but are owned by Hollywood.Example of film in development hell:Under the skins13 years to develop and took tax payers money to finance film.
