Fr. Michael attended FSU earning a B.A. in History while also discerning his call to the priesthood. He received the Sacrament of Holy Orders in 2010 and served the parish of St. Paul Catholic Church in Pensacola, Florida prior to being assigned to St. Dominic. He was named pastor in July 2015. He is the fourth of six children and the proud uncle of 19 nieces and nephews. Fr. MICHAEl NIXOn Most Rev. Gregory L. Parkes was ordained and installed as the Fifth Bishop of Pensacola-Tallahassee on June 5, 2012, having been appointed to the position by His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI, on March 20, 2012. BIsHOp GrEgOrY PARKEs DR. CARoLe RAZzA Dr. Carol J. Razza is an international speaker and fulltime Faculty Member and Formation Advisor at St. Vincent de Paul Seminary in Boynton Beach, FL. She serves on the Advisory Board for the International Magnificat, and on the National Catholic Charismatic Council. She is a licensed Psychotherapist in the state of Florida and has worked in private practice for over 25 yrs. She has written two books, Sonblock, How Christians unknowingly shield themselves from Grace, and Parent Me....Please!, a book helping parents to parent their adolescents. Father Nicholas Schumm, Pastor at St. Thomas More Parish in Pensacola, is the Diocesan liaison to the DCCR. As a teenager, his relationship with Christ grew in a deeper way through the Renewal. Fr. Nicholas graduated from St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary, where he earned two Master degrees, and was ordained a priest in 2006. Fr. Nicholas also serves as the Director for the Secretariat of Education and Formation, the Spiritual Director for the Lay Carmelites and the Chaplain of Pensacola High School. www.pt-dccr.org Fr.
