The ROCK Super Sunday: TODAY in Room 107 at 9:30 am and 11:00 am. 7th – 12th graders are invited to Super Sunday. Super Sunday is a day of funactivities, games, and a time for building relationships. The Rock Student Ministries is a place for teenagers to come together and engage in conversations about God, learn about life, and be a part of something bigger than themselves.

Sr. Adult Share-A-Lunch: THIS Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 11:30 am“Daughters of the American Revolution” - We will be providing the meal. Since it’s “Mother’s Day” in May, please bring “Baby Items” (Baby Shampoo, wipes, diapers, etc.) to donate to New Hope Ministries. Please be sure to sign up (online or use the Connection Card) and let us know that you are coming.

Guest Speaker: Join us on the Sunday of Memorial Weekend, May 26, 2019. Colleen Gross, an excellent proclaimer of God's Word, will be speaking on the biblical principle of Generosity.

Promotion Sunday: June 2nd and Promotion Wednesday June 5th. It’s time to move up. We are looking forward to an AWESOME year!

Gathering for Prayer: Sunday, June 9th at 6 pm. The Elders have called the congregation to come together to hear some important questions we will be facing in the next year as we transition to a new Lead Pastor and as we refocus the specifics of our mission strategy.

It’s America!! Coming to the stage September 14th & 15th at 7pm. “The Songs We Sing…The Land We Love.” Rehearsal begins June 5th from 7 - 8pm in the Chapel. We need ALL singers! (School aged children are needed for a choir that will be rehearsing at a later date, watch for it in the bulletin). Rehearsals for both choirs will be Wednesdays from 7 - 8pm. Outdoor Baptism: Sunday July 28th at Two Harts Barn. ARE YOU READY FOR THE NEXT

STEP? Have you accepted Christ as your Savior, but have not yet been baptized as a believer in Him? Won’t you give this matter your prayerful consideration? The baptism service will be held at Two Harts Barn, 5720 Colonial Valley Road, Spring Grove, PA 17362. If you would like to be baptized, please pick up a “Request to be Baptized Form” in the literature racks or sign up online. Baptism Service is 6 - 7 pm. Bring a lawn chair.

Jeans and Flannel Shirts Needed: We are having a Family Fall Festival in October and we are in need of old jeans and flannel shirts to be used to make scarecrows. Please bring them to church and put in the boxes located in the Atrium and Foyer.

Outreach and Opportunities to Serve

Tech Team needed: Training provided. See Get Involved section of the bulletin.

Prayer Warriors: If you want to be added to the prayer chain, see Get Involved.

Hanover Area Council of Churches: May Special needs list includes: cooking spray, whole/sliced canned potatoes, tall can trash bags, masking tape, hand soap, laundry pods HE, flip flops, single serve entrees and vegetables. Call 717-633-6353 to schedule a drop off.

Music Ministry Opportunities: Hanover Hall, May 20 at 7:00 pm; Brethren Home, June 28 at 2pm. Please prayerfully consider where the Lord leads you to participate. Interested? Contact Darlene Parlette at 717-359-7011. 1 Chronicles 16:9 “Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts.”

Please help our Benevolent Committee in helping to collect items for New Hope. Their current need is tuna, toilet paper, and mac-n-cheese. There is a tote in the Atrium, just inside the doors, for donations. Thank you, the Benevolent Committee
