CONFERENCE OBJECTIVESUpon completion of Symposium by the Sea 2015, participants will be able to:

• Discuss and integrate into practice the principles of care discussed in the articles chosen by ABEM for LLSA 2014-2015.

• Demonstrate the ability to rapidly stabilize, diagnose and manage critically ill patients – including performing major procedures.

• Identify a rigorous approach to the evaluation of common symptom presentations requiring comprehensive differential diagnostic considerations.

• Review and fine tune skills in basic Emergency Medicine Ultrasound.

• Demonstrate a basic understanding of ultrasound physics and orientation.

• Describe Flakka and its relation to similar drugs of abuse.

• List and describe the appropriate treatment options for specific Florida water related and specific land based envenomations and toxicologies.

• List the most prevalent diseases at highest risk for presentation in Florida related to International Travel.
