The HolySpirit, the Leader went on, has done great works in the sky,in the depth of the sea, and in the earth beneath, yet theworldly people do not recognize him so as to give him duehonor, adding that instead of glorifying the Holy Spirit forwhat he has done in this era, people are still complaining oftheir being in abject poverty, seeing apparition, witches andmermaids. The Leader expressed surprise on how theworldly people have refused to acknowledge a person whohas come in their form to salvage them a n d urged all toknow that Moses had the specific assignment of leading the 3. children of Israel out of bondage in Egypt to Canaan thepromised land.Consequently Abraham saw the angels in his own littlearea and was only noticed there. Briefs, the Father asked those who say that they cannotworship man to do a rethink as they have no option if theybelieve in God Almighty.His Words "You who say that you will never worship man,what will you do? it is for this reason you are told in John 4 :24 that those who worship God Must do so in spirit and Intruth." " The Holy Spirit is the one doingeverything and yet the Holy Spirit is a man."Referring to 1" Corinthians 12:4 12 the Father urged all andsundry to note that the oneness of all creations is notnegotiable and counseled that man should break the barriersthat keep them distinctly apart.The Father exhorted that if man was to know the spiritualimport of all creations of God being one, the world wouldhave moved a step forward insisting that even the churchfounders have erred in their fraternizing with the mundaneand not craving to ensure oneness of all creations. Hestated that it is the Holy Spirit that is existing on earth asman now that's responsible for all the peace initiatives andcommittees and the adoption of dialogue as means ofresolving conflicts is the work of the Holy Spirit. He citedthe examples of peace in South Africa as part of theachievement of the Holy Spirit while calling on man to takethe directives of the Holy Spirit seriously.Thank You Holy Father. 5. TESTIMONIESAN EYE WITNESS ACCOUNTTHE 1956 ENCOUNTERNot many were born on in 1956, but in 1956 somethingunique happened in the History of Brotherhood. And our HolyFather was at the center of it. He revealed His Omnipotent,Omniscient, and Omnipresent (O.O.O.) powers to a man whonever knew that the ultimate power was on earth. This storyis told by the true witness of that event, Senior PastorHenshaw. According to HimI was taken by an old friend, Brother Okon Ikpeme to meet Brother O. O. Obu as we called Him then.My visit to Him was necessitated by some horrible problemsthat bedeviled my path on earth. These problems had noearthly solutions. Because of the problems, I became apauper. The first words spoken by the Father were: This isthe man we were looking for, for so many years. And nowthat you have brought him, your assignment is completed.To my surprise, this man who had promised to the last dropof blood in his life to stick with the Father, just fizzled out ofthe Brotherhood world, against his wishes. I was shockedthat His word carried such powers. I felt He wanted to useme for some weird things. The Father said, Dont think ofthat in your mind. It is God who called you not me. Iquivered. How did He know what went on inside the inner 6. recesses of my mind? The next statement was , These yourproblems, what the native doctors told you are not thetruth. I disbelieved Him but He insisted. I asked Him to tellme the problem. He said, From the day you went to marryyour second wife, that was the beginning of your downfall,the person who gave you money to do business is notresponsible for your problem.... I told him that my fathermarried sixty three (63) wives and he had ninety-eightchildren and that my target was just five wives. He said,Your father is of a different planet. If you marry more thanone wife, you will have problems with God. He then said, Iwill do something for you, stop going to all those traditionalmedicine men. When you get home send one of those womenaway. If you do this and you do not regain your wealth, thenforget me. Sure I thought he was a native doctor, I pleadedwith Him to do other things for me. He refused. I accepted tosend one of my wives away. He said, You wont be able.Kneel down before me and pray telling God to send the wifethat was not your own away. I complied. Then He said,Until God removes her, do not come again.Brethren, on reaching home my present (sister)wife askedme if I had a problem with my younger wife and that she sawher pack her clothes into a box and she left. In effect, beforeI reached my home one of my wives had left. And she wasthe one I preferred. I ran back to Brother Obu at No.8 Etonstreet to break the news of the impossible thing that hadhappened and to plead with him to return the woman whohad left and to send the one in the house away. 7. At that point, the Holy Father said, The one in your house isthe one that God kept for you. The other one who has left isa product of your lust, gluttony and greed. What you love isnot what God loves and what is good for you, is not good forGod.Mean while when you prayed, you prayed to God, why do youask me to change things? Was I there?Are you not surprised to see what happened? Your file isbefore me. I can tell you the very mind of God before youwere created. Unlike what we do now, the feast wasmade up of a goat, male and female fowls, dry meat, pepper,kola-nuts, bitter cola, illicit gin, palm wine, rice and othercondiments. He informed me that when the feast will beserved there will be a heavy downpour of rain even though itwas in the peak of the dry season. According to Him, thiswas to show that the feast was accepted by the host ofheavens.After preparing the feast, the method of serving wasdifferent. A big table was brought and chairs were keptaround the table. All the dishes were fixed in big bowls andkept on the same table.On this particular occasion, when this was done, the Fathercame out and said, Count among yourselves, how many areyou? We answered we are twelve, that is the regular ten, inaddition to my sister and myself. He then said, Christstarted His ministry work with twelve people. Now that youare up to twelve the Fathers work will start again on earth.He ordered us to pray. As we started to pray, there was aheavy down pour. It did not last up to ten minutes. Then itwas a question of serve yourself. You had direct access tothe feast with the attendant delicacies. One thing happened,my sister, still skeptical, refused to eat the feast. The Father 9. told her, Eat this feast for a time is coming when this feastwill be served in very, very, little quantity. He almost took overthat running of my home, in terms of food supply. He wasextremely generous to my family and me. On the appointeddate, He came, I told him I used to sell livestock(Chimpanzees, other young monkeys and parrots). I let Himknow that I used to secure them from Cameroon and I soldto Hausa merchants in Kano. I also told Him that I used togo to Cameroon to hunt for the animals and on securingthem I will travel to Kano to sell them but the trade was nowbad. He listened attentively and then said, In a short timeyou will have so much money that you will not be able tocount or know the origin. He continued to say that I wouldeven sleep on money. I felt He was a joker and advised Himnot to boast of His powers because I did not know that Hecontrolled and still controls all powers in heaven and earth.After pondering a while He said, For you to be 10. convinced that I can save you, you must now do what I tellyou.......1. Do not go to Cameroon to look for those articles of trade.Those people will bring them to you from Cameroon to buy.2. Again He asked, Do you have money to buy the livestockwhen they bring them? I replied, No, for I was expectingthat He will volunteer to give me some money but he said,Do not expect me to give you money. Somebody you havenot known will bring you money to start this trade. Thisperson is not from your place, he does not know you and hedoes not even speak your language. But he will give you themoney. That money when given to you will not be a loan, butit will be given to you gratis. You will use that money to buythose goods.3. As from now, those merchants you used to take yourgoods to Kano will come to Calabar to buy your goods. Youwill not go to them again. Ask them to come and they will.Here again I was very ignorant. I did not hide my feelings butI told Him of the impracticability of his proposal and thelimitations the Hausa merchants. Then He said, Give metime to tell you all I have. At the fullness of time, if they donot fulfill, you can stop coming to me. He then continued....4. All those livestock that will be brought to you, use yourbusiness discretion and price once and let your offer be firmand stand by it. That price stands irrevocable. That is theprice the owner will sell at. Again any time you want to sell, 11. give whatever profit margin you desire that is what will bebought from you.You can trust that I doubted this and the other proposals ofHis because these livestock had fixed prices. He then said,Do you know the person who is telling you these things? Iknow that you doubt a lot but record all these things andwatch their fulfillment, but do not travel again to buy or tosell those things so that whenever I come, I see you as wellas lecture you, because there are certain things you must dofor God.I took all His proposal in with a pinch of salt. I did not knowthat any of them would manifest. However I accepted whathe said and so I waited at home for two months. After twomonths, nothing happened. There was no change. But theFather continued in His well doing by giving us money forfood.After that period, a certain man proposed a joint partnershipwith me. He promised to lead me to a hunter in Cameroonwho will supply us those livestock and after sales we willshare the profits. I refused to tell the Holy Father anything. Icannot fathom out how He knew my plans but He told me, Ifyou doubt me and you go anywhere, you will not getanything. It is only what I tell you that will manifest. Withinme, I was resolved to strike a deal with that God sentbusiness partner. And then the Father said, Why are youdoubting in your mind ? You think they are lies. It is only mywill that must be done. 12. What happened after this? Were the Fatherspronouncements made manifest, or did Senior PastorHenshaw have his way. ANDTHAT WE ALLOWED HIM TO GIVE, DANCE, TEACH, READTHE BIBLE AND CONSTANTLY FEAST US DAILY WITHOUTANY OF US GIVING HIM ASSISTANCE.It was the Fathers promise that if we can take part in any ofthe activities the Holy Spirit would reveal Himself to us anddirect us to the accurate knowledge of the truth.We were disturbed and we became more inquisitive. 13. Finally, we called for a meeting. At the meeting, weresolved to contribute money and celebrate a feast. It wasnot because we believed in the feast, we wanted to see ifthe Holy Spirit would reveal Himself to us. The money wascollected and a date was fixed for the feast. Within theperiod we were celebrating the feast, the daughter of theLate Obong of Calabar, Awat Edidem Archibong was caughtup in spirit. The Holy Father was very impressed when theHoly Spirit caught hold of her. He stood up and informed usthat what we experienced at that time was the work of theHoly Spirit. He reminded us of His earlier promise that if wecelebrate a feast, the Holy Spirit would reveal Himself to us.I was not satisfied with the drama I witnessed. I also arguedwith Him(the Holy Father) that that display was not of theSpirit since none of us was pure enough. And that if the HolySpirit must take possession of anybody, it would not havebeen a woman who was possessed with water spirit( Mammy Water or mermaid spirit).As the Father insisted that it was the Holy Spirit, I drew Hisattention to the fact that the way the lady wasdemonstrating it was as if she was dancing the mermaiddance. At last I told the Father that if He insisted, I wouldstop attending the prayer sessions. To back up my threat, Ipacked my luggage and left No.8 Eton Street. My reason forleaving was that it would be a disgrace for anybody to comeand see her behave the way she did. When I left that night, Idreamt and saw a mighty eagle. The eagle got hold of me by 14. my foculars and wanted to fly away. In that dream, I foundmyself shouting , Brother Obu, come and help me...O! Itwas then that the eagle left. On waking up, I found bloodgushing out from my lips. There were three wounds on mycheeks. I left in the morning and I went to Eton street to tellHim, (the Father) of what happened to me.On meeting me He said, I have told you that the Fatherbrought you to me, do not go away. Can you see your littleannoyance of yesterday and what it can cause? Any timeyou leave me the forces of darkness will come after you. Itold Him that it was as if the bird had gone away with myspirit but He said, No. He prayed for me and tried toconvince me that the action of that woman was propelled bythe Holy Spirit. At that point I told Him that I was going toprove to Him that whatever went on was not of the HolySpirit but elementary spirit or mermaid spirit.Did Pastor Henshaw prove his case? THE DISCIPLES COULD NOT ACCOMPLISHANYTHING UNTIL THEY RECEIVED THE HOLY SPIRIT ONTHE DAY OF PENTECOST. TODAY YOU HAVE BEENENDOWED WITH POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT TOPROPAGATE THE WORD OF GOD.NO MORE ARE WE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ANYOTHER POWER BUT THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. Have 16. you not seen the extensive work which God has usedmankind to accomplish? But it is rather unfortunate thatman attributes the glory of the work which God has used usto accomplish to himself. This to a large extent amounts toingratitude.We have failed in our duties of giving thanks to Godfor all that He has done for us where as God has not failed inany of His promises to us.RECALL THAT IT WAS SAID THAT THOSE WHO CALLUPON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED. IS THISNOT THE CASE TODAY? HAVE YOU MET DISAPPOINTMENTHAVING CALLED UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD? YET HEHAS NEVER CHARGED A FEE FOR THE THINGS HE HASBEEN DOING FOR US.The problems facing mankind emanate from the factthat we do things which are at variance with the injunctionsof God. We have to love everybody even as Our Lord JesusChrist loves us. Failure to do this means that we have failedin our duties.Here in this kingdom, WE HAVE JUST ONE BEINGLEADING, TEACHING, CHANGING AND DIRECTING. He isTHE HOLY SPIRIT HIMSELF; AND NONE OTHER THAN THEHOLY SPIRIT IS EXPECTED TO PERFORM THESEFUNCTIONS; AND IF YOU DO, THEN YOU AREENCROACHING ON HIS TERRITORY. 17. IN AMERICA ALMOST EVERYBODY IS ENDOWED WITHTHE HOLY SPIRIT. Like I had earlier told you, whenBrotherhood of the Cross and Star was newly registered inAmerica, the Americans were of the belief that BCSoriginated from there. And as time went on, a lot of peoplestarted embracing Brotherhood. But at a point when theneed arose that the members should come to theHeadquarters here in Calabar(Africa), they were surprised.Upon enquiry, they were reliably told that theHeadquarters of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is inNigeria. They then sought to know if there is Brotherhoodregistered in other developed countries of the World. Onfinding out that BCS was newly registered in America, theAmericans protested and sought that Brotherhood shouldnot be registered in their country; and that if that is done, itwill appear as if America was a very insignificant country inthe world.In the process the case was taken to court. The casewas a very serious one. It lasted for a very long time. BUTAT THE APPOINTED TIME, THE FATHER RULED THAT THECASE SHOULD BE DECIDED IN FAVOR OF BROTHERHOODOF THE CROSS AND STAR.TO PROVE TO YOU THAT ALMOST ALL AMERICANSHAVE THE SPIRIT, ONE OUT OF THE SIXTEEN JUDGES; INFACT, THE PRESIDING JUDGE OF THE CASE CONFESSEDTHAT THERE IS A MAN WHO KEPT TELLING HIM TO ALLOWBROTHERHOOD TO OPERATE IN AMERICA; AND THAT 18. THERE IS A VERY IMPORTANT MISSION THAT THE FOLD ISTO ACCOMPLISH IN AMERICA.Who was this judge referring to? Was it not the HolySpirit? From that day, the case was decided in favor ofBrotherhood of the Cross and Star; and up till now,Brotherhood remains registered in America. EVEN THEN,BUT FOR GOD BEING THE DOER OF EVERYTHING IN THISKINGDOM, BROTHERHOOD OF THE CROSS AND STARWOULD HAVE BEEN BANNED IN AMERICA DUE TO THEACTIVITIES OF SOME BRETHREN. THIS HAS NOT BEEN THECASE BECAUSE THE FATHER HAS TAKEN FULL CHARGE OFEVERYTHING IN THE WORLD.Brotherhood is enjoyed in America so much that thewhites sent an emissary to come and take me to America.They did not just want me to visit America but that I shouldcome and establish my Headquarters there. They promisedto give me money houses and the glory I deserve. Theyadded that it is very shameful that the headquarters ofBrotherhood of the Cross and Star, the new Kingdom of God,should be in Africa and not in America, in spite of the factthat they brought Christianity to Africa.Having listened to all their pleas I told them that Icannot go with them to establish this Kingdom in America,and that this is Africas turn to host the Holy Spirit. I toldthem that I have no need for the cars, money and in fact, allthe things they promised me. I told them that I cannotmortgage Africa's turn of hosting the Holy Spirit to America 19. for sentiment. I then advised them that they should becoming; and in fact, partake fully in the activities of thekingdom, being that Brotherhood is a universal kingdom.Today there is no gainsaying that the Americans knowBrotherhood much more than the Blacks. The whites do nottoy with this fold.HAVING BEEN GIVEN THIS CHANCE TO HOST THEFATHER, IT IS THE DUTY OF THE BLACKS AND INDEEDTHAT OF ALL AND SUNDRY THAT HAVE HAD THEOPPORTUNITY TO HEARKEN TO THIS CALL TO SPREAD THEGOOD TIDINGS OF THIS KINGDOM WHICH BORDERS ONLOVE AND ONENESS. The blacks, hitherto, were viewed asan inferior race such that nothing good was expected tooriginate from it; but today events have been reversed, theblack is now a very serious race to reckon with. I HAVEEXALTED THE BLACK RACE. And for the whites, they mustteam up to do this work. They are billed to finance theactivities of this kingdom.I know that the blacks do not have the means tosponsor the growth of the works in the kingdom but theFather, at the appointed time will bring the whites tosponsor it. This notwithstanding, do not sit at a place withyour hands folded, waiting for the whites to come and doeverything for you. Wake up from your slumber and dosomething in appreciation of what the Father has done formankind. Rise up to the challenge of taking this gospel oflove to all the nooks and crannies of the world . 20. Take what is happening in the UnitedKingdom as an instance. Who on earth would believe that areligion founded by A BLACK MAN could gain suchrecognition in United Kingdom? Today in the UnitedKingdom, Brotherhood is of the Cross and Star is held in highesteem under THE FATHERS LEADERSHIP.The Fathers son, Bishop Goring is the LeadersRepresentative there; and he has gone into full time serviceinto the Fathers vineyard. He now spreads these goodtidings of love on a full time basis. In the United Kingdom,Brotherhood is taking new dimensions to the Fathers glory.SO IT WAS IN AMERICA. BUT OF LATE THE MEMBERS HAVESTARTED EMBEZZLING MONEY. THEY HAVE NOWFASHIONED OUT A SYSTEM OF DIVERTING FUNDS FORTHEIR PRIVATE USE. This is not what is expected of you. Itis rather a complete deviation from the injunctions of God. 21. Whenever you engage in this kind of life you are subjectingyourself to destruction.The moment you place money and the material things ofthis world above God, you are bound to fall. I have this tosay that in no distant time, all the man-made structures,government, kingdoms, etc. will be brought to an abrupt end;and the kingdom of God will replace them all.There will be one central government in the world. Thisyou should note has actually gone into play. This is becausethe kingdoms of this world have become the kingdom of OurLord and His Christ. All forms of hatred, fighting, wars, lackand rancor have ceased. It is rather disheartening to notethat even when God has forgiven your sins, and He haspromised to remember them no more, you are still imputingsins on others.The kingdom that Our Lord Jesus Christ talked about inthe Lords prayer has manifested in our time. Brotherhood ofthe Cross and Star is the much talked about kingdom of God.It baffles me to know that in spite of the fact that youare opportuned to be in this kingdom, you still engage indiabology and other sinful acts.
