Regatta Day- 18th December No more clues- someone guessed what was happening so all children have been informed. For our regatta day this year we have ordered some rides. We will also have sprinklers operating on the top oval. This event is FREE and only for CURRENT students of our school as the Risk Management Plan only covers supervision of current students.

What to bring on regatta day On Tuesday 18th December, we will be holding our ‘regatta’ day. It is different this year as we are having free play for the day. We have rented four inflatable rides and will have sprinklers going for children to play under. Year 6 ONLY are allowed to bring water pistols. Children will leave their bags near their classrooms for the day. We will stop play for the normal lunch and recess periods. The activities will run 10am-3pm unless it is too hot to stay outside this long. Parents are welcome to attend. Toddlers can play under the sprinklers but the rides are for current students only. The canteen will be open for over the counter sales during lunch and recess. Children will need: Lunch Recess Can bring some party food to

share- not too much please. No soft drink, no bubble or chewing gum

Hat Swimmers and either a rashie or t-

shirt to cover shoulders Board shorts- even for girls- for

sun protection & for ease of movement on rides.

Sun screen that they can reapply themselves with

Money for over the counter sales Shoes that can get wet and will

stay on their feet Towels Change of clothing. Plastic bag or something to put all

the wet items in.

Share our Space Dates The school grounds will be open for public use between 24th December-25th January inclusively.

2019 dates Students in Years 1-6 (2019) return to school on Wednesday 30th January. A class list will be on each door so children will know where to put their bags and then what class to go to on the first day. Kindergarten class of 2019 will start on Monday 4th February.

Great News Mrs Latta has been nominated to be part of the Department of Education’s Great Place to Work champion community. This community is about building the NSW Education System into one of the best in the world.

Books Home Children will be taking their school books and art work home on Friday 14th December. Please ensure your child brings a sturdy bag, as well as their school bag, in which to carry home their books. Do not send plastic bags.

Last day of Term TT Idol TT Idol will start straight away in the morning. It will run until finished. If there are many acts, we will have a 10-minute break for intermission. Parents are welcome. We cannot give times of performances, as there is a random draw on the day. Yr 6 Arches Year 6 arches will be at 3.20pm.

Please do not park ANY cars in the bus

bay as there will be children about

and buses will need ease of access at

that time.

Library Books All library books are now due back. No books are to be kept over the holidays.
