NDIS FUNDINGGateways Support Services Participants arerequired to have a current NDIA plan. Supportsare claimed from the CORE supports budget.Gateways support participants at a 1:1, 1:2 or 1:3ratio whilst engaged in our Recreation programs.Ratios are determined on an individual basis,according to participant's support needs. This isto ensure we are providing a safe and qualityprogram.To align with the new NDIA price guide, a serviceagreement outlining your allocated program ofsupports will be provided to you. Once this hasbeen signed & returned, we can confirm yourplace in these activities. High RiskActivities classed as high risk will be staffedat a minimum ratio of 1:2.

Gateways Support Services isan NDIS registered andquality-accredited serviceprovider

ACTIVITY COSTSAt times, you may be charged out of pocketexpenses (Activity costs) based on the outingyou are attending. We aim to keep these costs aslow as possible, whilst still providing fun andengaging experiences for all participants. This cost is an out of pocket expense, payable toGateways Support Services. Gateways do notcharge out of pocket costs to NDIS plans.

PERSONAL CAREPlease advise us if any personal care assistance isneeded, so that we are able to ensure we providethe appropriate support for all participants. We askthat you provide your own continence aids/sanitaryitems and wipes.

AccessibilityWe can provide hoisting and additionalsupport to people with additional mobilityrequirements.

DEPARTING ON TIMEWe are really excited to offer you a wide range ofactivities, that often require external bookings. Assuch, it is very important that you give us acourtesy phone call if you are running late. If wehaven't heard from you and it is more than 10minutes past the scheduled program start time,unfortunately the group may need to depart andyou may miss out on attending the session.

CHANGES TO PROGRAMSPrograms will be adapted in line with COVID19restrictions in place at time of running. Safety ofour participants and staff is our first priority.Currently, we ask all participants to undergo atemperature check and COVID screeningquestions upon arrival at program to ensure thesafety of everyone in attendance.

MEDICATIONPlease advise us if you have medication tobe administered during a program.Medications must be provided in a Websterpack. Liquids/Creams must be provided inoriginal packaging and be clearly labelledwith the persons name and dosage.
