Register now and take advantage of our extended payment plan period. Payment in full must be re-

ceived prior to start date.

Our day camps offer structured activities from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Drop-Off at both camp loca-tions starting at 7:30 a.m. and Pick-Up ending at 5:30 p.m., 5 days a week. By working with the

schools we are able to offer all campers breakfast and lunch at no cost through the federally sponsored summer food program.

Each day, campers will take part in a variety of organized activities, games and arts & crafts. One day each week, campers will go on a beach trip, where they will enjoy organized activities and swimming. The Kindergarten through 3rd grade group delights in the Wednesdays-In-The-

Park program each Wednesday and one day each week all camps participate in a special event/excursion day.

April Vacation Camp The Auburn Recreation Dept. is bringing back the Vacation Day Camp! This will be a fun and en-gaging place for parents to bring their kids during the week of school vacation! Kids will split time between the Hasty Community Center gym and the new Ingersoll Turf Facility to play all kinds of exciting and interactive games. Lunch will not be provided, so please be sure to pack lunch and

snacks. Open to grades K—6.

Registration: March 7th— April 8th

Cost: $75 Residents

$85 Non-Residents

Grades K-8

Program Dates: April 18 - April 22

Time: Drop off: 7:30am /Pick up: 5:30pm

Recess Warriors

This five week program is for ages 3-7 and will consist of a new activity each week allowing kids to take part in a variety of games. Activities will be held on Saturdays and range from a classic game like soccer to a playground favorite like capture the flag. Each week participants will be

divided up into even teams to take part in traditional recess/gym time activities.

Registration: NOW until March 31st

Cost: $35 Residents

$40 Non-Residents

Program Dates: April 9 - May 7, Saturdays

Time: Ages 3-5 10am-11am

Ages 6-7 11am-Noon

Join us for this fun filled derby where kids of all ages have a great time. Action can be fast and furious, and is always fun. We stock Pettengill Pond with over four hundred Brook Trout ranging in size from 6 to 12 inches!! This event is made possible through the generous support of the Auburn Exchange Club.

RULES/REGULATIONS & OTHER FINE PRINT

Anglers are limited to one line in the water and four fish caught. Line wetting is at 8:00 a.m. each day. Fishing continues for three hours, or until you have caught four fish.

**For the safety of all participants, only worms or artificial bait may be used.

No artificial lures. No fly fishing. Minimal casting.

Awards are presented immediately following each derby.

Trophies are awarded in each division for:

Largest Fish, Greatest Total Weight, Greatest Total Length, as well as one trophy each day for the First Fish Caught.

There are 3 age divisions for each age group.

APRIL VACATION SOCCER CAMP The camp will focus on skill development in a fun environment, featuring a unique blend of skill development, player challenges and game play. The curriculum is specifically designed to bring the best out in every

player.

Registration: Monday, March 7th—Friday, April 8th

Ages:: This Camp is for Ages 3-15 (co-ed)

Cost: Half Day (1.5 hours) $65

Full Day (3 hours) $99

Spring Soccer with GPS

Players will be introduced to the basic techniques of soccer in a fun and positive environment. Emphasis will be on learning through fun games and small-sided play. In accordance with their “Smart Soccer” philoso-phy, they will also address skills such as communication and sportsmanship. There will be a $10.00 late fee after registra-

tion period closes.

Lax Magic

This is an opportunity to learn the skills of Lacrosse in an informal setting. There are no games against other teams. Children in grades 1-2 will be introduced to

lacrosse skills and get their hands on the equipment used to play this fast paced, and exciting game. Participants will get to hold a stick and learn the basics of

passing, catching, shooting, pick-ups and defense. As well as participate in some fun skill development games.

Registration: Now Until start of program

Cost: $40 Residents/$50 Non-Residents

Grades 1-2 boys and girls

Program Dates: April 3 - May 8, Sundays

Time: 12-1pm

Location: Pettengill Park or Chestnut (whichever is opened first).

Once again, the Auburn Rec Department is sponsoring girls and boys Lacrosse for grades 3-4,

5-6, 7-8 for boys and girls. These are travel teams. Transportation is not provided by the rec

dept. This program will include a regular practice schedule and a full game schedule starting in

late April and ending in June. Each player will sign out a reversible game jersey and game

shorts that must be returned at the end of the season. Participant must provide all other neces-

sary equipment. We will combine if there is isn’t enough girls to field a full team.
