Implementation Strategies
We propose a pilot study in lecture class – a small trial run of the proposed system in a single location. The aim is to make sure that the proposed system is viable (in term of system quality and performance) to be integrated in MMU ICEMS.
Pilot study involves having a group of end users try the system prior to its full deployment in order to give feedback. The study can reveal deficiencies in the design of the proposed study.
Data gathering will be conducted using questionnaires to collect prospective users’ opinion.
The proposed system will only be implemented / deployed in other location (department) if it is accepted by the majority users.

Target Group: Students from FIST, FET, FBL, CADP, FOSEE.
Target No. of Users: 100 students per subject from each faculty.
Problem Statement:Manual paper based attendance system, students use to sign attendance on behalf of their friends.
Testing Method:PC is allocated in a class room. Students just have to key in their student ID and password to have their attendance updated. A dedicated PC is installed at the entrance point for them to perform the login activities..
Testing Period:One semester

Implementation Strategies
Once the proposed system is accepted by end users in a single location. It could be implemented at MMU Integrated Center Education Management System (ICEMS) for login to MMU central server system.
Proposed Location: Faculties, Library, Admin Office and Lecture Room
We suggest to implement the system by location (phased installation). The purpose is to limit the organization’s exposure to risk in term of cost or disruption of the daily operational activities.
