What Is Technology?

Technology is the branch of knowledge that deals with the creation and use of technical means and their interrelation with life, society, and the environment, drawing upon such subjects as industrial arts, engineering, applied science, and pure science.

Why Technology Is Great

1. Represents the innovation of man, and increasing advancement in human society.

2. Technology assists us in everyday tasks, from heating our food to printing our news.

3. Technology assists in quick communication, such as E-mail or Telephone, to contact one another with ease.

Why Technology Is Bad

Many times jobs that previously required an actual living human, can now be automated by the use of technology, further reducing jobs and causing an increase in layoffs.

We have become reliant on technology to accomplish certain tasks. Do you remember your friends phone numbers anymore? The fact is about 22% of our time spend online is on social media sites – is also cause for alarm.

Kindles and other readers are great, for storing a lot of material, but nothing can take the place of a literal page-turner

3. Go For A Hike- Wander off into the wilderness and enjoy mother nature. Hikes help boost your health and make people happier and sometimes even smarter.

Can We Be Saved?

When the world was created there was no technology, yet man survived. And while technology has been great in so many ways for our planet and human development, you can see how it is has become a burden as well. The world was not meant to operate the way it is now. And I do not see us changing our technological ways. I do not think we can be saved and our planet will eventually lose it’s grips. So for now live life to fullest and don’t take anything for granted.
