1. PREDICTIVE ANALYTICS LABThe Planning Commission has approved Predictive Analytics Lab for SZABIST Karachi to target the healthcare domain. Predictive Analysis Lab (PAL) will be under the umbrella of the National Center of Big Data and Cloud Computing SZABIST. Smart Manufacturing Lab under the National Center for Big Data and Cloud Computing (NCBC) is being developed at SZABIST Karachi.

2. TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT FUND BY H.E.C AWARDED TO MEDIA SCIENCE DEPARTMENTThe Media Sciences Department from SZABIST, Islamabad had submitted a project titled “Documentaries Highlighting H.E.C/T.D.F Success Stories”. The documentaries will be made on the selected 33 proposals funded by Higher Education Commission Pakistan. PTV News has agreed to show these documentaries on their Channel.
