MicroSIAThe Smallest Sequential Injection Analyzer

The MicroSIA is a small and robust analyzer for performing precision measurements on one or two reagent assays. Simple, cost e�ective, and smaller than a toaster, the MicroSIA, includes a syringe pump and selector valve, making it a great choice for basic sequential analysis. If you require very slow �ow rates (uL/min), consider our MicroSIA+. With an ultra-high-precision syringe pump, this instrument is the best choice for work on micro�uidic chips and other applications involving micro-machined devices.

1. A high-precision syringe pump can draw samples and reagents bidirectionally. 2. Upon �ow reversal, samples and reagents react in the holding coil. 3. A multiposition valve routes the mixture to a detector, where the sample is read.

Dual Pump Sequential Injection Analyzer

These two independently controllable syringe pumps are suited for assays based on:

- Gas di�usion - Gradient generation used for automated titration - Separation of analytes from matrix by means of sorbent extraction

The advantages of a dual syringe system:

- Programmable gradients can be created with simultaneous and independent syringe control for direction, �ow rate, and volume. - Auto-diluting high concentration samples is made easy. - Seamless, uninterrupted �ow can be achieved with the two pumps. As one �lls, the other empties.

The Ultimate SIA Instrument

Ease of Use The Process Analyzer embodies the combination of sequential injection analysis with PAT (Process Analytical Technology). This instrument was designed to be a simple and robust way to tackle a wide range of in-vitro assays conducted by pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries. The previously meticulous procedures for these assays are replaced with online processing by our software, SIAsoft. This intuitive soft-ware saves time, labor, and assures consistent procedures.

Modularity The Process Analyzer is an instrument that allows for creative and productive spaces. If a standard assay can be accomplished with a single syringe pump and detector, imagine what sort of analysis can be done with multiple pumps, specialized selector valves, tactful mixing coils, and in-line columns and heaters for separation. All of which is housed in a single unit. The appli-cations are boundless. FIAlab’s engineers have lots of experience out�tting this instrument for a myriad of speci�c assays. The instrument can be customized to do anything from automated liquid chromatography to process analytical pretreatment. If you ask for it, we’ll build it!

Data Collection and Analysis Collect and process data for a wide range of devices all the way from spectrometers to analog devices.

2D Plots Advanced zooming, planning and plotting features. Users can inspect the full spectrum at any point in time by simply moving a slider to the desired location (pictured above).3D Heat Map This new tool allows users to view the entire spectrum collected from a sample all at once, instead of just monitoring one or a few wavelengths separately. Data Processing Like the 2D plots, viewing data channels in the process window is clean and feature-rich. Users can zoom in/out, pan, and rapidly inspect data on a per-sample basis. Data Exporting Data can be exported in formats ranging from high level reports to raw data. SIAsoft can be integrated into your existing LIMS, database, or other data warehousing infrastructure.

Python Scripting

SIAsoft’s built-in Python interface allows users to harness the power and �exibility of the popular Python programming language to create unique and functional scripts. Our platform aids the user in devel-oping methods for their FIAlab analyzers for their particular laboratory and process analysis needs. Python scripts can dynamically control all of an analyzer's �uidics, manage other instruments, and even make automated decisions and �uidic adjustments based on analytical measurements.
