It is presented on Table 1.
Evaluation
The performance of a student is evaluated in terms of percentage of marks with a provision
for conversion to grade points. Evaluation for each course shall be done by a continuous internal
assessment by the concerned course teacher as well as by an end semester examination which will
be a written type examination of 3 hours duration and will be consolidated at the end of the course.
The ratio of the marks to be allotted to continuous internal assessment and to end semester
examination is 25 : 75 (i.e. Internal 25 marks and External 75 marks ).
The components for continuous internal assessment are:
Two tests and their average ---15 marks
Seminar/Group Discussion --- 5 marks

Duration of the external examination is 3hours.
