CRICKET - Narrandera Friday, March 2
Some of our boys are playing cricket for Small Schools next Friday in the first two rounds of the State Knockout.
Chris George from Wamoon is managing the team and will finalise teams and arrangements early next week.
BASKETBALL Mrs Thomas and Mrs Menzies conducted trials last Friday and selected teams to participate in the first round of the State Knockout at Narrandera. Ryan, Dion, Nathan, Joel, Daniel, Riley, Crystal, Julie and Monique were selected to play today.
The boys and girls teams had a great day at Narrandera. The boys won their first game against Parkview then played against Leeton and were defeated.
The girls played Parkview and Narrandera and enjoyed the competition.
All the children showed great enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout the day. Thankyou to Graham Wilkinson and Sandi Jones for providing transport.
Special congratulations to Ryan Pitt and Dion Warren who were selected in the Leeton-Narrandera team to play in Albury for the Riverina team.
Thanks to our supporters. We had a great day.

STUDENT BANKING EVERY TUESDAY Please bring bank books in to the School
Office. Information packs available from the
School.
Every time you shop at the Golden Apple please keep your dockets. All dockets can be placed in a box at
the school office. Let’s see if we can beat last years record!
This is a very easy way to raise funds for our school.
LIBRARY TIMES:
Monday: Years 2/3/4 & Years 5/6 Tuesday: K/1 You will need a library bag or a sturdy plastic bag for borrowing books. This protects books from getting damaged in school bags. Please bring your library book on library day so that you can re-borrow.
PAINT SHIRTS/APRONS FOR ART: We do have old shirts at school for art/craft days but if children wish to bring their own paint shirt or apron that would be good. A plastic apron would be best as paint often goes through cloth onto their school uniform. Art afternoons are: Monday: k/1, Tuesday: 2/3/4 Wednesday: 5/6. Mrs Sgroi,, Teacher.
SPARE CLOTHING Sometimes our students have accidents. Could parents please put spare clothing in a plastic bag. These can be kept in their bags in case of emergencies.
