Congratulations to Charlotte in Y5 who took
part in a series of 5 bouldering competitions at
climbing centres across London. Charlotte
gained high scores in each round coming second
overall in her age group. She had great fun and
enjoyed climbing with her friends.

star and values learners of the week. In 3W,
Oliver and Maddie, in 3S Amalie with Shalom
and Vanessa and in 3G Evie and Aleksander.
In 4C Isabelle and Zayna and in 4F Oliver
and Liam. Congratulations to all of you!
Kasheem in Y5 recently produced a fantastic
piece of writing titled ‘In My Perfect World’.
Well done Kasheem.
In my perfect world there would no such thing
as being racist. I wish that anybody can be
whoever they want boy or girl. In my perfect
world there would be no such thing as war
there would be only peace. There would be
no rude people that judge others by their skin
colour.
Inspired by the illustrator Nick Sharratt, Ria in
5N created a class picture using his drawing
style. Can you guess which author he illustrates
for?

Ramadan
Ramadan 2018 will start on Wednesday 16th
of May and will continue for 30 days until Thurs-
day 14th of June. In Islamic law, children are not
required to fast during Ramadan: they are only
required to fast when they become adults but
we do understand that occasionally older chil-
dren in Y6 wish to fast to prepare them for adult-
hood.
If this is the case for your child please contact
the office for further information.
