What Can Parents Do?

As the school year unfolds at MSE and everyone settles in, our leadership initiative is very

strong. The children are learning and practicing the language and meaning of the 7 Habits. Each

class has created a mission statement that will guide them in making decisions throughout the

school year.

We are often asked by parents how they can support the leadership initiative at home.

Each time we are asked, we give the same answer – use the language of the 7 Habits (found on the

reverse side). By hearing the same language at home and at school, we send the children a strong

message of what we believe is important and that we are on the same team – the team that wants

to help them be successful. When parents and schools support one another, the sky is the limit!
