Introduction

• The term describes a category of phones, with a high-end set of features to make them more computer-like, powerful and flexible than basic smartphones.

• It was first introduced when Google launched the Nexus One in 2010. It was coined to describe phones that have more capabilities than basic smartphones.

• It implies high-end functionality beyond that of the basic criteria for a smartphone, large touchscreen and ability to be more tailored to a users needs than just being able to extend a selected set of software.

AIM – Development of a Superphone.

_ A brain-inspired chip to transform mobility and Internet of Things through sensory perception.

To meet the basic criteria for a smartphone, large touchscreen and ability to be more tailored to a users needs than just being able to extend a selected set of software

Risk analysis

• Risk arises in the power of battery as the phone will be consuming a lot of power.

• Production and maintenance of TRUENORTH chip on large scale basis.

Solutions and Probability

Probability • The probability of the first risk is about 0.5 as there are batteries in

market that can be placed in superphone.• Risk of large scale production is about 0.5.

Solution• With more and more advancement in technology new methods will

be developed in terms of battery power.• As this technology will become common on a large scale production

and maintenance will become easier.

Phase Design

• Phase 1: Initialization And PlanningIn this phase we plan to gather all the information and recruiting the required number of Skilled Designers, HR personnel , Software engineers , Hardware technicians. From amongst all these teams a head is chosen . . From basic design to hardware configuration , from hardware configuration to software mapping, from software mapping to witness a super product.

• Phase 2: Hardware And Process Designing This one involves the hardware

configuration and its design. The first and the foremost thing that we have is a 5.0’’ glass display with IPS display.

To add more to this masterpiece we have a AMD RADEON card which promises to cop up with high level gaming graphics.

• Phase 3:Software MappingThis is the final and most important phase . In short , this is a UI (user interface ) phase which connects people to this smartphone. With the help of software mapping only one can communicate with his/her phone. The easier the UI , easier for the user to use it. The main board of our phone , the platform on which our smartphone is going to run. Latest Android OS will be preferred.

Conclusion

• An electronic display device which can tell you whether an apple is rotten or not just by pointing your camera lens towards it , imagining it all it’s a revolutionary technology being used for first time. This technology would increase the flexibility and performance in the operating sector of telecommunications. It has its outstretched uses in every areas and will soon dominate the market because it’s an emerging technology for the next generation of electronic devices has attracted numerous research efforts in recent years due to its great potential to make significant commercial impact in a wide variety of areas. It’s a milestone in mobile computing and designing.
