IDP figures constantly fluctuate, more so during theonset of a new crisis. OCHA receives figures from different sources and humanitarian partners and triangulates them. The number of verified IDPs OCHA reports on has been either registered / verified by IOM or confirmed through inter-agency assessments / missions and / or during theprovision of assistance by IASC humanitarian partners. This, in turn, implies that the level of verification and accuracy varies greatly.

# In Sortony and Tawilla, authorities halted IOM registration and verification processes in mid-February. As a result, figuresunderwent revision and have now been amended according toWFP's latest beneficiary figure in July.
# In Boori and Wadi Boori, confirmation of reported displacementin the area and / or to other areas is still not possible due to lack of humanitarian access.
# HAC reported 40,000 new returnees in Golo in June. No confirmation of this figure by humanitarian partners has yet been possible. Similarly, HAC-reported returns from Sortony (2,060 people) and Tawilla (3,000 people) to Fanga Suk village and Rokero town are yet to be confirmed.
1,500people returned to villagesaround Um Tajouk town inKreinik localityHAC
