WHEN & HOW October 26th, 2015 Actual Event: During the math class the student was working on her
laptop, and took out the cell phone, teacher asked for the cell phone,
Student refused and teacher called the school administration, who asked the student to leave the classroom
School called the police Police officer Fields slammed the student & threw her to
the ground
WHATS THE PROBLEM?
Excessive force were used on students in the schools
Who should punish students? School or Police Officers?
SOLUTION
Schools should revisit their policy Reach out to parents first then police
Well trained police officers Officers that can talk to students without
hurting them

Opinion: Police should not be hurting kids Fact: The FBI is looking if officer Fields had
broken any laws Fact: People are asking why a police officer was
needed Fact: About 14,000 police officers have been
put in schools across the country Fact: Officer Fields was fired from his job
(Fields is the officer who is involved)
