Menyatakan kegiatan yang akan dimulaidi masa akan datang.

I will start studying Korean next month.

Pola kalimat future juga bisa menggunakan tenses lain:

Present progressive biasanya untuk kejadian sudah direncanakan dan

sudah pasti, terutama dalam waktu dekat

I am leaving for Indonesia next week

Simple present biasanya untuk kejadian yang sudah pasti dan tidak ber

ubah

The museum opens at 10 oclock tomorrow.

bicara (reaksi)

Contoh:

A: You have an email from John

B: Okay, I will reply his email

Menyatakan keputusan yang sudah diambil

sebelumnya

Contoh:

A: You have an email from John

B: Yes, I know. I am going to reply his email after

lunch.Menyatakan janji.

Contoh:

I will buy you a new computer if you get good grade

this semester.

Menyatakan niat atau rencana

Contoh:

I am going to visit my grandmother.

Menyatakan prediksi di masa yang akan datang

menurut apa yang kita pikirkan atau percayai.Contoh:

I think it will rain later so take an umbrella with you

Menyatakan kegiatan di masa akan datang yang

berhubungan dengan masa sekarang atau yang kitabisa lihat sekarang.

Contoh:

The sky is dark. It is going to rain.

Menyatakan penawaran atau permintaan tolong

(voluntary action). Contoh:

A: I lost my wallet.B: I will help you to find it
